Needed a place to stay before catching the train early in the morning, and for this purpose the hotel is ideal as it is located across the road from the train station. The room itself tho was shabby, fittings were falling off the bathroom door, it seemed old and there was even an empty water bottle from a previous guest that hadn’t been removed. Overall, a decent option if need to catch a train but otherwise I wouldn’t really recommended.

The hotel was a little difficult to find, because there was no sign with this hotel’s name on! You need to check in at the Echeng hotel.
Location is right across the road from Dali railway station, which is very convenient. Room was clean and comfy, very good.

It was a very nice hotel, clean and well-equipped. There was a laundry room on another floor, which I was grateful for. It is very close to the station and within walking distance to the lake. What's more, you can walk a short distance to the dining area, where you can enjoy a satisfying evening. The bus terminal is right in front of the hotel, making it a really well-located hotel. You can ride your bicycle along the lakeside in the morning and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
