Dali had been on our travel list for a while, thanks to all the great reviews from other travelers. Since we only had a short time to explore, we chose this hotel for its beautiful design and convenient location near the ancient town.
Unfortunately, our train got delayed twice, and by the time we finally arrived at 9 PM, we were pretty bummed about missing the chance to see the ancient town that night. But the moment we got to the hotel, our mood completely changed. The owner greeted us so warmly and even helped carry our luggage, which was such a kind and unexpected gesture.
And wow—the hotel room was even better than we imagined! It was modern, super high-tech, and had the coolest smart toilet (which we were obsessed with). Everything in the room, from the comfy bed and pillows to the little details in the amenities, was just perfect. You could tell the owner put so much thought into making guests feel at home.
The kindness didn’t stop there. The next morning, she helped us book a Didi, carried our luggage to the waiting area, and even stayed with us until the car arrived. It was such a small thing, but it really meant a lot. If I ever come back to Dali, there’s no question—I’ll be staying here again!
