From your accommodation, take a taxi to the Boai Gate of Dali Ancient City and walk straight into the Boai Gate for a few dozen meters. The inn is right next to the original restaurant where Liu Yifei once filmed the TV series Yuan Zhi Yuan. There are many people checking in to eat at this restaurant every day. The location of the inn is excellent, very close to the South Gate and Wuhua Building, and also close to Honglongjing Street, just a short walk away. The regular taxi drivers who pick up guests in Dali Ancient City will pick out the guests. Sometimes the taxi is empty, and even if they ask you where to go, they won’t go even if they don’t think it’s right. However, there are many private cars at Boai Gate to pick up passengers, and you can negotiate the price directly. Or walk a few minutes to catch the bus. If I have the opportunity to come to Dali again, I will choose to stay in Xizhao Courtyard.
