We had a fantastic 3N stay- feels at home, clean and everything is in the good hand of the owner - excellent home cook breakfast, full suite od amenities including Sunblock, tour arrangement etc.. their own-run restaurants and tea house are both worth trying - we didn't go anywhere for meal, expert the last night as we were too late for dinner!!! There are a lot of homestay in Dali - but to me, this is probably one of the best as we can see the passion, the hardwork and heart-felt service they have shown. Truly, like what they said when we first arrive - feel at home truly!!

During this trip to Dali, I booked a room in the Denglou of this century-old courtyard B&B and stayed there for two days. The living experience was very good. The courtyard is not big, but the flowers and grass are lush, the water is clear and the fish are lively. The view from the second floor is amazing. You can see the Cangshan Mountain in the distance in the gap of silence. You can listen to the rain and watch the rain flowing through the tile edge to form a line. It feels so wonderful. It can be regarded as a substitute version of "Windy Courtyard". It is as comfortable as imagined~
In addition, the location of the B&B is in the middle of the ancient city, which can be regarded as quiet in the bustling city. I have to mention that the breakfast rice noodles given by the B&B taste very good, and the mushroom soup hot pot we ate at their house when we arrived today was full of ingredients and fresh soup. It is highly recommended!

I booked the Kusamuri House on short notice. The location is excellent, the environment is beautiful, the room facilities are great, and the breakfast is delicious. Many people came to the yard to check in and take pictures. If it weren't for the itinerary, I should have stayed a few more days.
