Simple Life Lake View Resort

I'm being honest. I've lived in Lijiang and Dali Ancient Town. I don't recommend you to live here for the following reasons: First, the environment is as shown in the hotel photo in Figure 1. The actual photo behind is separated by a road. It's always like this at night. The big cars are very noisy and the sound insulation is very poor. I know that the neighbors had mushroom hot pot yesterday. The hand sanitizer squeezed out was all black and moldy. I basically didn't sleep all night. Second, the neighbors started slaughtering pigs at 9:30 in the morning! Note that it's a real pig, and it really sounds like a pig being slaughtered. The breakfast is standard. The yogurt they sent is also close to the expiration date. I didn't give it to the children. The shower head was broken and almost scratched my face! The toilet was also shaking. I really gave up. Third, it's not the Shuanglang Scenic Area. It's almost like fooling outsiders, as shown in the picture! Fourth, why do you have to notify guests to have breakfast at more than 8 o'clock in the morning? Others are still resting and you send a WeChat message! Every hotel has the service of helping guests carry their luggage, and they did it. In summary: the boss wants to do a good job in this store, but the location is really not good. They know it will be noisy but they don't do a good job of soundproofing. If you want a first-line lake view, I advise you to give up. The price of more than 1,200 is really not worth it. A few kilometers away from Shuanglang, the homestay is quiet and clean. The front desk staff are very good. They helped us carry our luggage, gave us a fruit plate when we checked in, and gave us flower cakes and tea when we checked out. It's a very attentive family.

I have stayed in so many B&Bs in the country and I am most satisfied with this one. The old front desk guy is also very gentle and will help with luggage. The breakfast made by the aunt is also very delicious, and there are welcome fruits! Opposite is Erhai Lake, which is romantic in tranquility. I will come again next time!

The owner of this amazing homestay is a local Bai ethnic group. Fresh fruits and specialty yogurt are given upon check-in. The house facilities are super complete, and even a telescope is provided.
