I ended up going from 4-to-6 nights here. Great location right on the lake and very quiet as well. I especially liked being here at night. Good coffee as well. The hotel staff were extremely helpful in getting me to my next destination as well as letting me stay longer as I was dealing with some work-related issues of getting paid late and running out of money (not the first time). The stairwell is a great place to hang out as well if you are running low on funds.

Had a wonderful year end stay at room facing courtyard. Beautiful sunset. Convenient walkway to old town. Bathroom has separate overhead heater, but water took a long time to become hot.

The room is very big, especially the environment. You can enjoy the comfort brought by Erhai Lake by sitting in the small courtyard. You can spend a whole day with just one chair.
