This is our second time staying here. The owner and staff are very welcoming. They help us carry our super heavy luggage to the room. We room are big and comfortable, location is also easy access. We really enjoy staying there and will choose again when we visit Dali.

The toilet was extremely cramped and the shower almost directly on top of the toilet bowl, meaning you'd wet your clothes going to the toilet for the rest of the day/night after using the shower. Room was smaller than expected especially because the skylight came at the expense of a lot of unusable space due to the low, sloped, ceiling. Don't expect to see stars through the skylight either due to the light pollution. Hotel was a long walk away from the ancient town proper, though it is a good location if trying to hail a ride out of Dali ancient town area as it avoids the frequent traffic jams leading into the ancient town. Sound-proofing of the room is not great, and it faces a frequently congested road with lots of pedestrians shouting and cars honking at night.
