The hotel was right across the road from the lake. The pool they advertise is just a shin high dirty pond-looking pool. The rooms were alright, but expect hard beds.
The staff was a mixed bag. The man was very friendly and welcoming, but the women were more more cold. At first, we thought they were just being sticklers for COVID rules, but they didn't give any of the Chinese guests that showed up as stringent of a welcome clearance.

On Huanhai East Road, the hotel faces Erhai Lake, so it is suitable for self-driving. The hotel is very big, the room can see Erhai Lake, and the breakfast includes rice noodles and tofu curd, which is good. The boss is Cantonese and is very hospitable. My sister was very nice. She upgraded the room type for me for free. It was really heart-warming. The room was very clean and warm, and the service was very good. There are many facilities on the rooftop platform where internet celebrities can check in (Sky Realm, internet celebrity swing, etc.). There is a gym and the environment is really nice👍🏻.
