After traveling around China for over a month and staying at dorms and private rooms scattered throughout cities. This place was amazing to settle in and relax. I don’t have a car but a taxi/Didi to Dali Old Town was fairly cheap. This accommodation is right next to the lake and it’s a nice walk to Xizhouzhen. They also were so kind to cook food for me for breakfast and dinner which was a pleasant surprise. The two owners are husband and wife and they are so accommodating to any need or question. Serving me tea on multiple occasions and even driving me to Xizhouzhen on an occasion. The parks by the lake are also fun. The room was spacious and comfortable. I even extended my time here an extra night. My next stop is Shaxizhen and they helped to get transportation there as well for a reasonable price.

Our stay at this mini hotel near Erhai Lake was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hospitality was outstanding, with the owner and their friends and family creating a beautiful evening gathering that we will never forget. The delicious noodles, fruits and the morning Pu'er tea were delightful touches that added to the overall experience.
The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the rich traditions of a courtyard setting. The rooms were immaculate, superbly clean, and very comfortable, equipped with everything a traveler could need. They even helped us park our car nearby, which was very convenient.
The star of it all was the wonderful lady owner. She was always ready to jump up and help with whatever we needed. We don't speak Chinese, but communication was easy using online translation. In the morning owner took us for a walk near Erhai Lake, which was a memorable highlight of our stay.
The location of the hotel is perfect, situated between the rice fields and the lake shore, just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk along the lake. We left feeling amazed and recharged, and we sincerely hope that our travels will bring us back to this wonderful hotel near Dali ancient city again.

A great B&B. It was our first time in Dali, and the landlady enthusiastically planned a tour route for us. The entire courtyard is filled with succulent plants taken care of by the proprietress herself, which are very beautiful!
