This is a locally run hotel. Location is good, right ij the old town . The room has everything you need, the breakfast is amazing! There staffs are very helpful, polite and attentive. You are in good hands if you decided to stay in this hotel. We will definitely come back to stay with them again.

I have always been paying attention to the brand of Jixiashan, and it really did not disappoint me. It was a very pleasant stay experience! From check-in to check-out, every detail makes people feel the caring service. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, quickly helped me with the formalities, and took the initiative to upgrade the room type, which was a surprise! The room is spacious and clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are complete. In particular, the water pressure and hot water in the bathroom are very stable, which washes away the fatigue of the day. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, only ten minutes away from the ancient town, and it is very convenient to travel. The most important thing is that the parking lot is right next to it, and parking is very convenient! The breakfast is rich in variety and the ingredients are fresh. I especially like the freshly cooked rice noodles, which are very local and taste great! In addition, the room service responds quickly, and the demands raised can be solved in time, which makes people feel at ease. Overall, both the hardware facilities and the service quality exceeded expectations, and the cost performance is extremely high. Next time I come to Shaxi Ancient Town, I will definitely choose here again! Highly recommended to other travelers, it deserves five-star praise!

The property is very close to one of the entrances into the old town, so it was very easy to alight the car and just walk over, as cars are not allowed in the old town. First impression of the property was great, as there was a very well maintained garden filled with flowering plants, right when you entered the doors. Eric and Joyce, the friendly and warm owners of this lovely place, were there to greet us too! Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, it was a breeze chatting and learning more about Shaxi from the two of them! This is especially convenient for tourists who are from SG, MY, who may prefer to communicate in English or Cantonese! Rooms were very clean and heaters were available. There is no air conditioning, but frankly, you will not require that at all! The main street of the old town is just a casual walk away, perhaps just 5 mins from the property. But along the way, you would certainly stop by many spots to have pictures taken as the entire place is so scenic! The houses, the vibes, the courtyards etc, everywhere you turn and look, it's just beautiful. There is no lack of places to dine at, once you are at the old town, so despite the fact that the property does not include food, you will never go hungry. All in all, it was a great experience and we would highly recommend anyone who visits Shaxi to stay over at this awesome property!

We had a wonderful 3 days 2 nights stay in Mengjing Dali Hotel. The location is great, very convenient to Dali Ancient city and plenty of restaurants nearby as well. All the staffs are extremely warm, friendly and they are very service oriented. The staffs truly put their best effort in making sure that we had amazing experience throughout our stay. The rooms are extremely clean, spacious and very nicely decorated and modern. Breakfast has a variety of western and local flavours. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay in Mengjing Dali Hotel. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay and experience so wonderful. Keep it up the good work.

Well-appointed and comfortable inn. Excellent location with easy access to attractions (some within less than 5 mins walk), yet is tucked in a quiet corner. Delicious and nutritious breakfast. Most commendable is the warm hospitality. I feel so well-taken care by everyone here. If I were to visit Shaxi again, I will definitely stay here. And do Shaxi justice by staying for at least a couple of days, and explore the vicinity.

Gorgeous hotel. Very elegantly designed and detailed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious. The view is stunning. We had a sunrise view from the bed, so we left the curtains open at night to let the beautiful sky wake us up in the morning. Location is perfect. One of the few properties around Lake Erhai to have direct access to the water, without being blocked by roads or promenades. There are other similar waterfront properties in the other peninsula, but Pusu is more accessible and closer to the main town. These two southern peninsulas are classy locations, far from the noisy and overly touristy parts of Shuanglang north of the ferry terminal.

The best hotel I've ever stayed. We booked family suite for 3 adults. The room has a balcony and direct view to Erhai Lake. We can see direct sunrise from our room and we just walk downstairs then we are already at the lake, the famous 'Sheng Tai Lang Dao' where u could rent bike to ride along the lake. The hotel is located at a very peaceful environment at Caicun. We had free pick up service from the train station. When arrived, we were given welcome drinks, welcome fruit basket, and also tea time voucher. They even served us hot milk during the night to our room before we dozed off! The service is superb! 😍 Hotel facilities is super good. There is washing machine and dryer at the top most floor, hence we get to clean our clothes. Apart from that, our room toilet bowl is a smart toilet, which has heater on the seat and has butt cleaning and drying services 😂 The room also has Marshall speaker where we could connect via bluetooth, super high tech air purifier and hair dryer. We even have a tea corner in our room! The last day we were rushing off for train, despite noy breakfast time yet, the hotel allow us to takeover some ready food. Totally appreciate it.

Room size is pretty standard but toilet/shower area is quite big. During winter, I hope that they have a heated bed but thanks to Dali weather, all is good. The location of this hotel is amazingg, right infront of Erhai lake. You can rent bicycle for 40 yuan but somehow you cannot rent a scooter coz they need an ID for that. This hotel provide simple breakfast like porridge, stir-fry vegetable, eggs, etc. The landscape of the hotel is also beautiful. Just be prepared to carry your own luggage upstairs as they do have elevator. I somehow still recommend this hotel due to its location.

An absolute pleasure from the moment we set foot onto the quaint, cosy guesthouse grounds to the warm & impeccable service with complimentary Chinese tea (served both in-room and in the adjacent tea room), cute animal friends (3-4 cats & corgi) and thoughtful, comprehensive amenities conveniently provided in-room for guests' direct access. Really appreciated the water dispenser in-room that provided hot water on demand, complimentary drinking water, fruits & local flower biscuits. Every detail in terms of interior decor and the owner's hospitality really made for the best stay in our 10-day trip in Yunnan!!

House: The B&B was renovated from a 400-year-old old house. The interior retains the style of the ancient house, with sliding windows that reveal the mountains and a very atmospheric feel. The only drawback is that the sanitary conditions inside the ancient house need to be improved. Scenery: The B&B is surrounded by gardens and there is a mountainside cafe where you can watch the mountains and chat, which is very pleasant. There is also a restaurant under construction in the garden, which is worth looking forward to. Person: Whether it is the boss sister, Big Beard, or the aunt, or the little girl, they are all very honest and friendly. The cooking made by Big Beard and the aunt is very delicious. We sit in the garden every day and eat the delicious food they cook. Don’t be too happy. People in Nuodeng like to give their children delicious food. We took the baby for a walk around the village, and the baby's belly bulged... There are also three dogs in the B&B. They are not afraid of people and can play with them casually. The baby enjoys playing with them every day. Huh. It was our first long-distance self-driving trip with a 2-year-old baby. We chose Nuodeng and Nuoyan. Of course we were tired, but it was all worth it.
