BELLA Da Lat

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything looks quite modern and well-maintained. However, there were a few drawbacks. The shower wasn’t hot enough, and the room was quite cold because of the chilly weather in Da Lat during this season. Unfortunately, the cold from outside made the indoor temperature uncomfortable, and with the lukewarm shower, I ended up feeling pretty cold. There was also a minor issue with check-in. When I arrived, the gates were closed, and there was no one around to answer or assist. I eventually managed to check in after contacting the hotel owner directly. Overall, my stay was good, despite these few inconveniences.

The trouble with Da Lat is that it seems to have more hotels than visitors – so we were among only a handful of guests staying at this hotel which had a grand and cavernous lobby. We booked our accommodation in advance, but on arrival and much to our surprise, we were shown to a twin room that was windowless. We were less than happy about this, and when we questioned it we were offered a better room with quite a pleasant view over some local back gardens. Breakfast on the top floor was nothing special, but the room offered some great views across the city. However, a large television played an endless video loop about the hotel with the most dreadful music accompanying it. It must drive the staff mad, but they seemed impervious to it. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The nights were cold and the room had no heating, so we asked for extra bed covers which were quickly provided. All in all, a merely average experience.

The first point I like the most about the hotel is that it is very close to the center, the night market, so it is very suitable for families with elderly people who can't go much. The hotel has services such as: selling sightseeing tours, renting motorbikes, airport shuttle .. etc. v the staff is very cute, dynamic and very supportive. The equipment in the room is also very complete and clean, especially the wifi is very strong 1 Conclusion, the first time I came to the hotel, I liked it very much from the location to the service. Definitely going to be 5 stars 1

Thang Lap Hotel

Recently, my family and I moved to Da Lat. We booked 2 double bedrooms for 7 people in front of a hotel named Song Trang on Ho Tung Mau street. We were told to check in at 12pm-2pm, but that day my family went up early to go out and take pictures and returned to the hotel to check in at after 12pm. The room had not been cleaned yet, so the staff sent my family to the hotel named Thang Lap next door, the price was the same and 2 double rooms. My family happily moved at 1pm but it was on the 3rd floor and the hotel did not have an elevator + was quite small + not very clean and airy. When we entered the room, we found it quite small and the area under the bed was dirty + dusty. There were too few power outlets. There was only 2 usable outlets in one room. In return, the toilet was quite clean and airy. --- Shocking: After staying for 1 night, the check-out time was scheduled for 12pm the next morning, but around 8am, the hotel owner suddenly told me to check out at exactly 10am. My family refused and followed the rules but still took the motorbike to go out and returned at 12pm. The hotel owner was quite annoyed with us so he asked Song Trang Hotel next door to discuss with the owner of Thang Lap Hotel. And in the end, we still returned at the scheduled time of 12pm but this will be the first and last time we go to DL and stay at a hotel like this. Maybe Thang Lap Hotel, because of the profit of booking guests to come later, intentionally informed my family to check out early at 10am to clean the room. A rather boring experience when staying here.

Hotel is centrally located, close to everything you need, including the night market. The hotel itself is clean and and beds are comfortable. The buffet has a variety of Vietnamese and continental food, fruits, and drinks - all very delicious. The staff are very polite and helpful. Tuyen, the reception supervisor was exceptionally helpful when i made a mistake with booking my flight and she was able to sort it out for me last minute, going above and beyond.
