Carnival Hotel - Da Lat

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST!!! I paid double the nightly cost to have a balcony and breakfast.. the balcony was shared with a public hallway so there were two doors to this balcony one to our room and one to a hallway that anyone could access which turns out was a very popular late night spot for people to chain smoke cigarettes right in front of our bedrooom door, making our room fill with smoke, keeping my toddler up all night coughing. We also paid extra to have breakfast included ..turns out this isn’t a breakfast buffet but you choose from two options the night before. When we ordered the night before we asked the gentlemen what time we’d be served and he said 7:30am, which was great because we were leaving at 8am for a tour.. when we went to the restaurant at 7:30 not only was nobody there but there were bedsheets drying across all the chairs. When I spoke to the very rude women at the front desk about this she said we never showed and they put the bedsheets out after we didn’t show, which was untrue because they had been up there since the night before. Probably for the best because the property is pretty disgusting.. I guess you get what you pay for. The worst stay we’ve had so far on our 3 month trip through the country. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. The price for this hotel looks good when you are searching but you end up paying for services that they don’t actually offer.
