Swiss Inn Resort Dahab

Everything was good, except that the driver who called a taxi from the hotel to Sharm Hotel was a bit emm. The hotel said the driver wanted 50 dollars (I gave 30 dollars + 1000 Egyptian pounds). We had to leave before sunset and I wanted to watch the sunset on the way. As a result, the driver stopped at a small shop near the Dahab checkpoint and said he wanted to drink coffee. I drank this coffee and browsed my phone slowly for half an hour. I urged him twice and it was dark before I left. (He was not in a hurry because he knew I was not going to the airport.) As a result, the hotel in Sharm asked me for money and said I had to pay at least 10 dollars. He said he thought I was going to the airport, blabla, and the hotel only gave him 30 dollars, blabla. He yawned on the road. I was afraid of driving fatigue and talking to him. He cried poor all the way. Finally, he asked for money... I said I called your colleague and I clearly paid the equivalent of 50 dollars. So you still have to pay me 10 dollars. The old man didn't say anything and left. He is really greedy and stupid.
Inmo Divers Home

The staff makes you feel at home immediately, helps you with arranging things in Dahab if you want. first time as a solo traveller, this was really welcome. Everyone was very helpfull and kind. It was my first dive experience and the dive centre was really good. Professional staff, good equipment and organisation. It's a nice 'basic' hotel. Don't expect a big tourist resort vibe. Because it's not so big, it feels nice and cosy. There's a swimmingpool, but if you cross the street, you can already swim in the sea! (and a beautifull reef to snorkel or dive). The room was fine, I didn't need more. Surprised to have a 'real' fridge (not a mini cooler). there's also a desk, chair, 2 closets, mirror... The daily housekeeping does a good job to keep everything clean. i was really happy with the sea view, it's worth the little extra cost. Restaurant: breakfast is a basic buffet, but they try to change little bits on some days (like falafel or bean stew) and they make fresh pancakes and ommelets on request. They have a menu with several options for dinner : it tastes good and is cheaper than in the town. good option if your exhausted after diving. if I would have to say a down point : The wifi connection was very unstable in the room. But better close to the reception/desk. But that's not the most important when you're there ;-)
Dahab Lagoon Club & Resort Ex Tirana Dahab

We visited this hotel for the first week of January as a family, 2 small children and 2 teenagers. We had the BEST time. The hotel is beautifully situated on the side of the lagoon. The food is wonderful. The staff are exceptionally friendly. We particularly loved the kids club staff - Rana, Mohammed and the gang. They made our holiday so much fun! Can't wait to come back next year!
Jaz Dahabeya

The overall service was very good. We stayed for three days and two nights. Due to the bus schedule, we arrived at the hotel as early as 9:00am. The hotel was very considerate and provided us with an early check-in at about 11:00am. You can take a good rest by tidying up your room. The cleanliness of the room was as expected, except that the lights were dim and the hot water was hot enough, but the water pressure was average. Employees and even lifeguards are cleaning various areas whenever they have time, so it is no wonder that the hotel environment is very clean. For seaside hotels, it is the hotel with the fewest mosquitoes I have ever seen. The quality of breakfast and dinner is up to par. There are a large number of desserts, delicious breads and various salads. There are many types of cheese and milk to choose from. Only the meat is of average Egyptian standard, and there is still room for improvement. But the two dinners had different places, which was a little surprise. The most satisfactory thing is the service of the hotel staff: due to our bus schedule being cancelled, we need to change our itinerary and temporarily need to change the originally charged late check-out of 6 hours ($35 USD) to a 3-hour late check-out ($17 USD). USD), the waiters Mr. Hussain and Mr. Kevolles were very willing to understand our situation and solved our problems. Thank them. Suggested areas for improvement by the hotel include the following: 1. Increase the frequency of flights to and from Dahab Downtown 2. Improve power supply stability 3. Check the room equipment regularly. For example, the wash basin, toilet and hot water kettle in our room were all broken. But Jaz Dahabeya made our stay wonderful. Great memories of Dahab.

Rafiki Hostel is an absolute gem, combining clean, cozy rooms with beautifully designed communal spaces where travelers quickly feel at home. The staff make this place truly special – Roba, the event manager, organizes fantastic group activities like game nights, music sessions, and trips that bring everyone together. The combined trip to Blue Hole, Abu Galum, and Blue Lagoon was a highlight, seamlessly arranged for an unforgettable day of adventure and relaxation. And let’s not forget Reham, the incredible cook who serves up delicious, home-cooked meals that are full of flavor and love – her food alone is worth staying for! With its warm atmosphere, ideal location near the beach, and the perfect balance of relaxation and social vibes, Rafiki Hostel is the ultimate place to experience Dahab.
Dahab Plaza Hotel

Ideal location of the hotel. 3 minutes from the Bus station, 4-5 minutes from downtown. Cheerful, sociable owner. As usual in Egypt, at first he could not understand where the room was booked, what trip.com was. then he checked the payment and gave me the number. The rooms are certainly tired, the plumbing is “wooden”, but it works, and in Egyptian conditions it is quite clean. The main advantage is your own bathroom))) The air conditioner works, the refrigerator too. There was no soap, I didn’t ask, I used my own. Wi-Fi in my uppermost room somehow got through, I had to go down to the pool. There is access to the roof with mountain views. Breakfast is tolerable, tea is not limited. Three good-natured dogs, about 8 cats, a nice crowd and a friendly staff. Swimming pool in the hotel courtyard. Barbecue area, two Israeli families fried fish there and sang songs on the same day))) When you exit the main road and to the right there is a 24-hour store with local prices for juices, waters and other food. On the way to downtown there is a dive center with competitive prices for Deep Blue Divers dives, we recommend it because... on the first line, diving is more expensive and more hectic. In general, I am satisfied with both the hotel and Dahab, more so with Shar ElSheikh.
