Champneys Tring

Louise in the cafe is the loveliest lady, she always remembers us from previous visits ( we go roughly 3 times a year) She always takes time to come and say hello & makes us feel so welcome! I’d say a real asset to a business, along with other staff, but Louise always stand out.

Lovely, relaxing stay. I haven’t given 5⭐️ because Champneys now charge for lunch when you’re staying overnight which seems a bit odd…and the lunches were always a great social interaction too. I hope they bring it back soon. Overall, the stay was great and facilities work well for me. Staff were very friendly and courteous as always. Particular thanks to Louise in the Terrace Cafe - always cheerful and chatty and always greets you with a smile…great coffee too. Thanks!

Took a solo trip for a business trip and had a surprisingly nice stay. I usually stay in smaller hotels / lodges and don’t often get the whole hotel experience but whilst staying with Tring champneys it felt like such a luxurious getaway. Shoutout to Sophie in the restaurant for looking after me both days i came for breakfast, lovely girl!

Restful & rejuvenating . Thanks Champneys Tring I immediately felt happy as soon as I was greeted by Jessica , Esther and Adrian on the front desk It makes coming back feel good that you know the same people are there and take the time to make you feel welcome and appreciated . My room was lovely pillows and bed really comfortable . The grounds really lovely well attended and the trees just stunning whilst out walking spotting the deer really peaceful. The food is always excellent and was also delighted to see Brooke , Lily Mai Ruby , Soph Edan Soph & Stevan They really work hard and despite busy times they have me time and attention . I had several treatments and would love to thank Sylvia Elly and Angela. After these treatments I rested and felt better The facilities were as always well maintained . Despite the amount of food at meals it’s always great to sit in the cafe have a a coffee and talk to Louise and Linda Louise always remembers me . She’s a great person. The building and facilities will be nothing without the dedication hard work and friendliness of the team who do make your stay so enjoyable . A huge thank you to all the lovely people who looked after me I’ll see you again in September god willing . Great that there is a bar to get a drink in the evening. Thank you , My only ****** is now booking treatments at the front desk. Sometimes that desk is so busy with checkins and lost keys that I’ve turned away and not made an appointment It was perfect the way it was . So I feel it didn’t work for me .

My visit to Champneys with friends was absolutely wonderful! We had a lovely spa day, enjoying the outstanding facilities and the perfect relaxing atmosphere.The food in the restaurant was lovely... A special mention to our waitress, Nikita, whose exceptional service and friendly demeanour made our experience even better. I highly recommend this spa for a luxurious and refreshing getaway!

I recently visited Champneys Tring and had an amazing experience! The spa treatments were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The restaurant's food was delicious and beautifully presented. Special thanks to our waitress, Nikita and Bonnie whose warm and attentive service made our evening extra special. Highly recommended!

Whilst the actual spa day was lovely the booking in/organisation has left a lot to be desired. This was a gift for myself and another person and we had booked a back/shoulder massage with facial each as a treatment. When we arrived yesterday morning at 9.20, the queue from the Reception desk was to the main doors with only one person on Reception. When we eventually got to the desk we confirmed our booking along with the treatments and my card was swiped. We booked lunch for 1.30pm and were told to go and help ourselves to breakfast and when we returned someone would give us a tour to orient us. After breakfast we returned to Reception to find that there was still only one person on Reception and he was dealing with a problem with another customer. I asked a lady who looked like a manger (she was in a suit)who said she couldn't help as she was in a meeting and carried on walking away. At our allotted time for lunch we made our way to the restaurant only to be told that there was no booking in our name - the manager even showed me the screen for me to see but we were not on it. During lunch I spent some time trying to catch the waitresses attention in order to get 2 glasses of wine. I finally had to more or less stand in front of her to ask to which she said what do you want - red or white? She brought two glasses of wine over and asked for the slip of paper I was given at Reception - I had never received this either. Whilst we were eating we could see the waitress starting to prepare the tables for the evening service - we witnessed her picking up two clean wine glasses by putting her fingers in them to carry and when laying the table each item of cutlery was laid using the knife blade of fork prong. I am not a specialist in the catering industry but even to me this did not seem hygienic. At the end of our stay I made a point of visiting the Reception desk to see if I needed to do anything and was advised not. Today, my husband received a phone call to say that there was an outstanding bill which needs settling! They said that they would call him tomorrow to do so. I cannot understand how this is the case as my card was swiped on arrival AND I asked on the way out if there was anything to settle and was told not. The actual spa and treatment was lovely but the organisation and management of the spa seems to be lacking. Champneys is far from being a cheap spa and I am so disappointed at the poor management of the place. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the points I have raised.

Went with a very good friend to champneys for the day .we were very well looked after from start to finish.a young lady called Chloe at reception booking us in and making sure we had everything we needed and even though out the day when we were waiting for our treatments she was very attentive also want to thank the 2 lovely ladies who did my treatments Angila who did my facial and Sylvia who did my full body massage .Love every minute of it .felt very relaxed and pampered.They made our day very special as my friend came over from Australia and we wanted to spend a special day together.so thankyou to you all .one very happy customer xxx

We went for the unwind and dine experience this weekend and had a lovely time using their relaxation facilities and wonderful grounds. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant and we had a delicious three course meal, with great service from the waitress Lucy. Thanks! x
