百侯山庄 is truly a gem addition to the town.
The property is very well maintained, peaceful and tranquil. Everyone from front office, kitchen, security and housekeeping are like family and we had many lovely conversations with them. Special thanks to the chef for our daily breakfast who cooked up all the lovely Hakka dishes and even treated us to a special one on our last day.
The climb to the top of the hill at the back of the property is well recommended if you have the stamina as the view is beautiful. Location wise is ideal as 百侯镇 is just across the road as well as 田园农庄 around 600m up from the right of the property serves very tasty Hakka food definitely worth the walk up. Overall our trip back to the ancestral hometown has been made perfect with our stay here.
Just want to say thank you to all the staff at 百侯山庄 for making this a complete and memorable trip!

I liked close to everything in this hotel, so I extended my stay for a second night.
The location is really nice: the hotel is within walking distance to the nearby town and the touristic area although it requires crossing a main road. Staff was very welcoming and helped us find a driver to go to the more remote sites we wanted to visit (some tulous and rice terraces).
The room was very clean, modern without superfluous, with a pretty view and it was very quiet at night.
The horel breakfast was very good. In addition, there were a few restaurants in town. The one we picked was delicious and overall we enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of this small town.

Much better than expected. Although the location is a bit remote, the room is quiet, clean, spacious and the price is cheap. Baihou Town is across the road, where there are many places to eat. I went to Hua'e Tower and planned to go to the ancient town, so I chose to stay here
