Honest Review of Haian Beach Hotel & Spa I recently stayed at Haian and felt compelled to share my experience, especially since it has many positive reviews. **Location:** The hotel is ideally situated right across from the beach and the main street, making it convenient for beachgoers. However, this prime location comes with significant noise issues. **Noise Levels:** Unfortunately, I found the noise from honking cars on the main road quite disruptive. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by construction on three sides, which runs late into the night (past 10 PM) and starts again early in the morning. Initially, I was given a partial sea view room on the 6th floor, which faced the construction site. After discussing the noise issue with the front desk, I was moved to a penthouse room on the 21st floor for the night, hoping the higher elevation would mitigate the noise and I would be able to get some sleep. Unfortunately, it did not help much; I could still hear the construction clearly. I was woken up at 5:30 AM by the sound of construction. I even tried using the earplugs provided on the nightstand (which shows they know how bad the noise gets) but they were ineffective against the persistent noise. **Cancellation:** As a light sleeper, I decided to cancel the remainder of my stay, as I knew I wouldn't be able to relax or enjoy my holiday under these conditions. The management was understanding and offered a refund for the rest of my stay, which I appreciated. **Overall Impression:** While the hotel is only 8 years old, it feels tired and in need of some updates. I would advise potential guests to be cautious when booking, especially if you are sensitive to noise. In summary, while the location is fantastic, the noise issues significantly detracted from my experience. If you're a light sleeper or looking for a quiet getaway, you might want to explore other options.

Very good location, beach front. And a lot of restaurants and stores outside the hotel. The breakfast is good and a lot to choose from. The room is clean. Only downside here is there are only four elevators so you have to wait for atleast 5 minutes especially during breakfast hours. There is also a construction going on beside the hotel. But they provided earplugs. Overall, the hotel is a good value for money.
