There is year round sports and adventures available at Shanty Creek. In the winter, explore the ski slops, snowmobile and cross country skiing trails. In the summer, swap out your skis for golf clubs and boating at Torch Lake. After a full day of exploring, you can unwind by the fire pit, soak in the hot tub, or relax in the barrel sauna under the twinkling string lights. Pets welcome. There is $100 pet fee. Must keep pets leashed & pick up after pets.
There is guest access to the outdoor & indoor pool at Lakeview Hotel.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 20 lbs per pet (limit one pet total).About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:$300 fine if lost pool key.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Wonderful getaway!
My family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights. It had everything you could need and was such a comfortable home with a relaxing outside area! The host was great and you can tell they really just want you to have a great experience and enjoy your stay.

Early June stay
This cabin has a very cozy feel. It has been updated and has a new feel to it. The sauna and hot tub were great options and there is a very nice outdoor campfire area.

Absolutely perfect!
This is the most well appointed rental we have ever stayed in. I don’t think there was anything we could’ve thought of that wasn’t already there. The property was immaculate and matched the pictures and descriptions exactly! Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous week and will most definitely be back!!

Great Girls Getaway!
What a perfect location for a low key, relaxing girls weekend! The Grumpy Bear was well stocked in every way! Super clean and comfortable. I could get used to a sauna every morning and a hot tub every evening!

Perfect cabin stay!

Winter Getaway
This property is ideal! Kristi and Ryan are great at communicating. This chalet is top notch! What I appreciated the most is the attention to detail that they have put into this property. They have quality products throughout, from sheets and towels to toilet paper and paper towel. I honestly can not say enough good about this place. I would give it a 10 if I could! We will for sure be back next year!

Shuss Ski
The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed and more. The hot tub and shuffle board table were over the top and we thoroughly enjoyed them!

Winter wooded chalet and great skiing location
Kristi and Ryan were wonderful hosts that have either thought of everything or responded to dreamer feedback. I don’t think you could pack more into a property while still maintaining a quality experience with thoughtful communication and excellent instructions for the many amenities!
