There are no words to describe the property to the level it deserves, every space is thought out, and it has the best views in the area. The owner was the best too, helpful in everyway. I hope to stay here many times over again. The wildlife was amazing just outside the door. I cant recommend this property enough.

The communication was great from original booking through our visit. This cabin is an easy drive from Westcliffe and the views are incredible! We have close to 100 photos just of the views and the hummingbirds. There were three hummy feeders that we refilled at least 7 times during our visit. With DOZENS of hummingbirds there every morning (and many in the afternoon), it was a highlight of our trip.Laurie was in regular contact and provided her preferred recipe for the hummy food since I expressed how great it was to see all of them. I'm sure she wasn't expecting us to use 7 cups of sugar while there (all for the feeders) or to eat almost all the cookies in the cookie jar (mostly my sister :-) ). Having the snacks was great since we were all there for a wedding event over the weekend at a close-by ranch (Three Peaks Ranch **) and were running around a lot.The kitchen is a great size for many of us using it and has all the "stuff" (plates, cookware, etc) one needs. There are also a LOT of spices and other stuff that made it even easier. As is usual in this area, this is a bit of a drive from Westcliffe, but an easy and straight-forward trip. We enjoyed being off the beaten path and in such a beautiful place.** Full disclosure, Three Peaks is visible from this wonderful cabin. However, it is about a 20 minutes drive because there is no direct path. This is expected in this part of the mountain region and part of the charm.Wonderful VRBO!!!

The name says it all This cabin was amazing. Furnished with everything you could need. The wrap around deck provided endless views of the sunrise, sunset and wildlife around the cabin. We had deer near the cabin every morning and evening. We couldn’t keep the hummingbird feeders full either. The star gazing is amazing in the area. We love the Westcliffe area. This was our third year in a row in the area. We enjoyed walking in town to shop and eat lunch. We went to Salida, Cripple Creek, and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. The host was very kind and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Trip to westcliffe We came to westcliff for a wedding with our grown kids and their partners. The house was stunning and so well laid out for 6 people. Plenty of room and outside space. Thoughtful touches - Coffee for our arrival and snacks. The host was So accommodating. We did plenty of star gazing which was amazing. I would rate this place as high and one of the best places we have stayed at. Would love to come back.
