"Quite disappointed, room was small and noisy, could hear everything from next door. Breakfast was very good, extensive spread.
Overall not value for money compared to other similar category hotels."
"Hotel location is very good in the old town, six or seven minutes walk from the weapons square
The internal environment of the hotel is very good, the decoration is very beautiful and very clean.
The room is also clean and tidy, but there is no exhaust fan in the room. The smell of the bathroom is difficult to disperse, especially the closed room without windows.
The service is difficult to say. I booked a superior room with windows and balconies. When I checked in, I said that the room was gone. The room I upgraded was the result of the ”upgraded” room. It was a fully closed room without windows! I don't agree, but the hotel said there was no room. The ”discussion” result was to give me free dinner. I didn't have a choice. I could accept..."
"I made a reservation for the night before to go to Machu Picchu.
I couldn't stay after all because the flight was late, but I arrived at Cusco Airport on the day of check-out, so when I told you to stay 3 days later, I kept my luggage well."

"I chose it carefully because it was a trip with my mother. The accommodation condition was very good, but it was a little difficult because it was cold in the early morning. They were kind enough to provide a heater, but I had difficulty sleeping because of altitude sickness."
"The service is so good that I have to comment. The room was upgraded to a room with windows for free. Because I left the hotel too early, I was provided with a packaged breakfast. There were free cocktail classes and a tour of the hotel's internal monuments. The room provided an oxygen supply system so there was no high-reaction"
"The hotel is in a good location, and it is convenient to walk to the Arsenal and the tourist agency in a straight line of 15 minutes. The hotel's breakfast is very rich, with many varieties of authentic food. The only downside is that the room is noisy at night because the restaurant is next to the bathroom."
"This hotel is indeed highly recommended for its scenic views and quite near to the Plaza Mayor de Armas. Highlight the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, as well as the friendly and professional staff. The natural lighting and panoramic city and mountain views are definitely standout features! The room I got has a scenic view! Super worth the price, I’m telling you, you should get one with the scenic view if you stay here. And staff at the restaurant were so kind and accommodating."
"The price/performance ratio is very high, the location is also very good, and it's antique. There is free coca tea in the lobby and free oxygen for 10 minutes. There is a convenience store/pharmacy opposite the hotel, but the check-in time is a little long."

Amazing
桂桂Belmond Hotel is my personal favorite hotel brand, no one! Although it is relatively small compared to other five-star hotels, it is definitely an aristocratic experience! From check-in to check-out at the front desk, the hotel really does pay attention to every detail. The Belmond Hotel Cusco is a converted monastery. The hotel also has a church, which is very characteristic. The Spanish courtyard design is elegant and elegant. The hotel breakfast is very rich. Stayed late that day and was upgraded, very satisfied. It is located next to Weapons Square and has a good location. Great experience staying in Cusco! Ctrip's price is much cheaper than booking, and it is very powerful!
CcindyDo not think twice to stay here, just book it!
Me and my husband had an amazing stay here during our trip in Cusco. The hotel is located at the heart of Cusco city and just a few minutes walk to the plaza, along with nearby shops and restaurants. It is run by a lovely family (Jose, Johann, and Miriam) who will greet you very warmly.
We had to get up incredibly early (4am!) for a tour and Jose prepared a packed breakfast for us. I told my husband it feels as if our parents prepared the breakfast because it was very thoughtful and we never got hungry throughout the trip :)
Johan speaks really good english so you will face no issue trying to get some tips around the city.
Thank you so much Johan and family for welcoming us, we will recommend you to everyone looking for a place to stay in Cusco🩷
GGuest UserHad two separate bookings with the hotel as I was going to Machu Picchu and staying overnight there. During my first day at this hotel in my first reservation, I was asked to pay for this second booking together. No receipt given but was assured that there will not be any misunderstanding. Was told to pack and leave my things at the reception and check out and re-check in. So not sure why I needed to pay for the second reservation upfront in my first booking (Maybe afraid that I would cancel it as I was really tempted to). As mentioned in my previous post, the amenities are severly lacking, cause of low water supply, the pipes and toilet filling up is very loud and the water flow from the tap is like the picture at night and it was trickling and dripping one of the early mornings when I had a tour. In short, i will not stay here again.
SS_KKThe rooms were clean and comfortable with a storage heater and hot shower. About 10 minutes walk to the main square. However, when we arrived it was a little strange for us when the receptionist said that we didn't have a booking there even though we had and I had the confirmation receipt to show him. He wasn't responsive until I called Trip.com online service, and then he continued looking and said that he actually found it, so maybe be aware of this happening when you arrive. It was also a little strange that after they checked us in, we had a lot of luggage and staff showed us to the rooms that were quite a walk away and up one set of stairs and two sets of elevators, that they didn't help with anything of the bags. We only noticed this as we had much better service in other hotels in Cusco.
GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel twice; in between I went to Macchu Pichu and left the baggage at the hotel.
Location wise - it’s very central with a PeruRail office next door albeit the other ones are not too far.
Reception is 24hr and there is a nice courtyard with a restaurant as well as a common area with a kitchen at the back.
I stayed in the Teepee tent on both occasions; first time the rate was more affordable at around gbp40/night. In July, the night gets cold. But the tent does have additional blankets and a heater. This worked except on the last night as it seems it stopped in middle of the night. Without the heater, the room was quite cold. The common bathroom is at the back; the showers are ok and you get enough privacy. I noticed the hot water does take a while to come through. I left the baggage in the storage - no issues. Overall good but for same price bracket I would try somewhere else.
KK TravelsLet me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice.
But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath.
The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it.
I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep.
Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh
SShuliThe staff was so kind, it was really good. They let me check out late because there was no reservation for the next day! The room and bed were clean, there were plenty of cooking utensils, and salt, sugar, and oil were provided. The breakfast was mainly bread, with only one orange and drinks, which was a bit disappointing. Coca tea was drinkable. The shower had good hot water, but the shower curtain was extremely short, so the floor got wet. Also, there was no heating, so it was really cold at night. The view of the city from the hotel was amazing.
The hotel is quite high up in the hills, so be careful not to get out of breath.
AAnonymous UserThe staff members are friendly when you see them, but two problems I encountered: the intro page of the hotel says it has a 24-hour front desk but it doesn’t! One night I finished drinking with friends and returned to the hotel at 12:25, the main door was locked, I called and knocked for 15 mins and no one replied - worse still I have a 4:30am pick up for Machu Piccu tour the following morning and I couldn’t change my clothes, charge my phone or bring anything with me because they just wouldn’t open the door! I couldn’t book another hotel either because any booking of the day only allows check in at 11am. I ended up sleeping in the sofa of a nearby hotel Prisma Hotel who was fully booked but kindly let me stay a night at their lobby.
Another thing was - the hotel room lock was shady and it became unlocked automatically sometimes.
It’s not somewhere you feel you can trust.
GGuest UserThe location is near the Plaza de Armas and is very convenient to go anywhere. The room was very clean. There is also a travel agency on the first floor. I am very grateful to the proprietress for her help. Came here for Machu Picchu and couldn’t buy tickets online. When I arrived at the store at 5:30 in the afternoon, the proprietress helped me book a bus➕train trip that would leave at 3:30 in the morning. She also asked me to run to the Hotwater Town Visitor Center as soon as I got off the train, because most people came to queue for that train. Those who buy tickets will wait for dozens more people every minute they are late. I bought the classic Line 2 at 8 o'clock the next morning as I wished, and later booked two one-day tours at the boss's house, as well as a bus to Puno in the evening.
