Athenas was very attentive and accomodating. Room was clean, spacious, and bed was comfortable. Great stay!

Atena Diaz was very friendly and helpful. She’s making sure everything perfect during my whole stay. And my last day morning she even made me a handmade bread so sweet. She’s awesome! Very knowledgeable!! Thank you again until next time!

A home-y hotel close to the city centre. The host, Atenas, is a lovely lady who cared for us throughout the stay. It did get a little cold at night but the bed was warm and cozy so I was fine.

Initially was difficult to find this place, and best to try to get in touch with the Owner / Manager, Atenas beforehand. The front entry is not distinct so we would suggest improving the signage at the front to allow travellers to easily find it. Aside from this, EVERYTHING about our stay was wonderful and our every need and request was tended to. Security is great into the property. Atenas was always prompt and consistent with communication, she provided us with breakfast each morning, and also facilitated our stay of 2 nights, separated by 2 days in Agua Calientes where she allowed us to store our bags. She went above and beyond also allowing us to use the shower AFTER checking out as we had finished the Rainbow Mountain tour before catching a night bus. She also trusted us to leave the keys on the table; we left a tip for housekeeping as well. Atenas is very well connected in the tourism industry throughout Peru and helped us find the most amazing guide for Machu Picchu as well who helped us do both circuit 1 and 2!! We would HIGHLY recommend Art House Lodge to anyone staying in Cusco. It is a 5min walk to Plaza Meyor and the value for money is very good.
