Floras Lake House Bed & Breakfast

We stayed for 2 nights in the South room. Loved every minute! Reed and Kylie are great hosts and the location is perfect for those seeking a little solitude! While there, be sure to also visit the deli in the Langlois grocery store and pop into Misty Meadows just up the road for the best jams!

Great Place to stay and the beds are great. We will be making this place are go to in Bandon. Breakfast was just right. We walked down to the beach and around the lake in under 5minutes. Perfect location with no crowds. We plan to do kitesurfing and boarding lessons on the lake, next time.

We only stayed one night on our way further north but we loved the location and the beauty of the property. The pictures are true to how beautiful and peaceful it is here. Our king- bed room was quite comfortable and included our own deck and a view to the ocean. Josh and Makenzie made us a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed chatting with them. This location is perfect for hiking on foot a short way to the ocean, or driving around the area to sightsee and enjoy the many walking trails, day areas, and stunning ocean views that make up the natural beauty on this stretch of the Oregon Coast.

We've been going the the Floras Lake House B&B for 19 years- always a great stay! Clean, light-filled space with comfortable beds and beautiful ocean views. Daily breakfast with hospitality and a variety of yummy offerings. Quiet and peaceful surroundings close to the lake and beach. Highly recommended!

I don’t know if they read the book or actually wrote it, but everything about our stay was perfect! The room and deck had the most stunning views with perfect sunsets. We had the best night sleep because the bed was so comfortable and the room was so quite (amazing soundproofing). Breakfast was perfect as well - especially Mackenzie’s home made quiche. We have already returned for a second visit!

A truly special place, particularly if you are a surfer / windsurfer / wing foiler / kiteboarder / kayaker or beach wanderer. Josh (son of the owner) and Makenzie are the couple that often run the B&B and also know the area - and all water sports taught at the associated lakefront school - intimately and will share their knowledge freely, with stories / jokes / directions and cautions on tap deep into the morning as they serve up a sumptuous breakfast at the common table. The B&B itself is somewhat unique in that it was designed as a boutique hotel with lovely water-view rooms, a huge deck and private bathrooms - but breakfast is a shared event where you can meet other guests and hobnob about weather, wind and waves, argue over best equipment and gear, and describe how to take on new skills. Even with no wind they'll pull you up on foilboards with jetskis, and with wind I learned to get up on a wingboard the first day out. Though it isn't inexpensive, it's worth it. This is the very definition of a hidden gem. So far as we can tell they do no advertising and the only sign is the little one you see when you roll up. So despite being lovely it is not busy and the owners seem fine with that. Great stay.

Beautiful house with four rooms with various bed configurations. Lovely shared back deck with lake views and exquisite landscaping. Walk down to the lake and see the kite surfers if you have time. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts chatted about local things to see and do. Also left handy dining and activities sheets in the room. Bandon is very close and is a fun town. Lots of local hikes. Great shower with wonderful pressure and detachable head. Had a little hot water snafu my first night but it was fixed the next day and Josh and Makenzie were so gracious about it. Love the family history of the house and that they live locally. Would stay again when in the area. A very welcoming house and hosts. My only suggestion would be to display the wifi info and breakfast time in the rooms but I texted Makenzie for this info and she was very responsive.

This is a sweet B n B with a great deck over looking the garden and lake with a nice family history. Originally built and run for 30 years by a couple who raised their daily on the property. It’s now run by their 30 year old kids who are super friendly and great to chat with. They also have and run the wind sports school on the same property.
