The hotel is under renovations and the free parking space is limited. Better to arrive earlier or else need to consider paid cover parking space . Otherwise a stay with a good view

We were surprised to encounter major renovation to the front terrace which reduced the car parking availability and created a lot of white/grey dust best to avoid the terrace area altogether but pack a clothes brush anyway as there are none in the room. Garage parking is advertised in Reception as €25/day but due to reduced free parking there was no charge. All staff are very obliging and professional and appear pleased to ensure your time there is enjoyable. The building has been repurposed over the decades but as a hotel it is both dignified and comfortable. A vending machine dispensing bottles of water would be useful. During the 2 night stay we took breakfast lunch and dinner and whilst the food is not great it is good. Parador de Cuenca is a great example of the brand but as we are only a few into their Spanish estate and with another 88 to visit we sadly don't have time to return.

A hotel I personally like very much. It was converted from a medieval monastery. It is in a great location and is a perfect attraction in itself. I highly recommend it.

A good hotel in Cuenca, outside the old town but within walking distance. The price is also relatively affordable, recommended!

Cuenca is a city built on a mountain like Ronda, famous for its hanging houses and suspension bridges. The hotel is just opposite the hanging houses. The current King and Queen of Spain spent their honeymoon here. This is a hotel converted from a monastery. It is both ancient and elegant, clean and convenient. You will face the mountains when you go out. You will see different colors of the mountains at different times of the day. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to the old town opposite.
