What can I say, no words can describe how amazing my experience was at crover house. As beautiful and picturesque as the hotel and grounds are it was the staff that stood out the most for me. Iv stayed in hotels around England ireland and around the world and never come across staff as nice, they are kind caring welcoming helpful chatty they really make you feel like your chatting to your best friend and as if you've known them for years. I cannot praise the staff enough they are what made it for me. As for the hotel and grounds they are out of this world. So beautiful and all the decor is fitting and it's just wow. The food was gorgeous and the beef omg it's something else. Thank you for making my 3 night stay for Amy & Marcus wedding one to remember

We went to crover house for food, my partner had the Salmon which was one of the specials of the day, which she enjoyed, 8 out of 10, I had the 12oz striplion which came on a hot stone, self cooked which was fine however the prawns that came with it, were not cooked and I was not told they were raw!!, so innocently I popped a prawn into my mouth whilst waiting for the steak to cook, not a nice experience, yuck, and to top it off the steak was tuff as old boots, when the waitress asked if everything was OK, I told her I knew I had to cook the steak however the prawns were raw, she said sorry I forgot, then when I said the steak was tuff, I was told I should have had the fillet, such a shame, a lovely spot however on this occasion the experience was not a good one, not sure if we go back pricey, had the steak been cooked in the kitchen and given time to rest perhaps it might have been a different experience except for the prawns thankfully I didn't get sick

The hotel is exceptional. The staff are friendly and very helpful especially liam the concierge. The room was clean and had tea coffee making facilities safe and Lots of plugs. The bed was very comfortable. The view was lovely over the lake. The food was beautiful. We had duck at dinner and it was very well presentedl as was the dessert. Breakfast was wonderful we had full Irish. It was great it was served to our table no hot buffet in sight. A great choice of juices cereals fruit pastries etc. The hotel grounds are beautful and the walks around the lake is beautiful too.We stayed for one night and would highly recommend crover house. We will definitely be back.

We were recommended the Hotel by a family member . My wife is disabled and we had the disabled room with the single and double bed . The room is very dated in its appearance . My wife had an accident with her catheter and the staff where fantastic. I would say that the rooms would also benefit from having a mini fridge in them . The food was fantastic if not a bit over priced Breakfast was excellent, the staff where very good . When I asked if the main bar was open I was told no only for weddings. This meant if you wanted a drink you had to sit in the restaurant part .not ideal Also there was no outside seating on the terrace apparently again only for weddings. It is a lovely setting but I feel I could be even better if some investment was out into. I would go back again .
