The Grove Cromer

The staff is friendly and efficient, providing a smooth check-in process. The location is excellent for exploring North Norfolk. Guests enjoyed the delicious meals served. The accommodation also offers a lovely lounge and pool.

The cottage was really nice had a lovely stay very well equipped with everything you would need lovely and clean tea coffee and milk provided for when you arrive the grounds were really nice parking space right outside at the back of cottage very close to amenities nice local beach and shops

The Grove is an amazing mix of the traditional and the modern offering accommodation to satisfy different tastes whether it’s staying in the beautiful old house, in one of the cottages or converted barns, in the charming Bungalow or in one of the yurts. Set in extensive grounds and in a great location within walking distance of the beach, the cliffs, Cromer and Overstrand it could not be in a better location. I have greenhouse and vegetable garden envy! And the food is delicious - we stayed half board and the generous breakfast set us up for the day ahead. The food was obviously freshly cooked using local and seasonal ingredients. The dinner menu was varied but we felt that after three days of eating well that was enough. We are not sure how often the menu changes. The staff are very helpful and on the whole very pleasant. I appreciate that working in hospitality is hard work but it costs nothing to smile and my only comment would be that perhaps the staff could smile a bit more…especially some of the younger members of staff. But the gold star must go to the chef who kindly prepared a very simple dish of scrambled eggs for our elderly labrador who had gone off his food. It’s not every day that our lab gets breakfast prepared by a 2 rosette chef!
