Danube Delta Resort

Amazing food and staff, the trips (Letea, 3 Lakes, Sulina, Stipoc) are a must. The hotel is located on a an isolated island, so I advice taking the trips ( around 30 euros/person). There is also a pool and you can borrow kayaks and fishing rods on the property. The rooms are spacious and cool.

This was a very quick decision, so we decided afternoon and left in the early morning the next day. We traveled by car from Bucharest to Murighiol for 4.5 hrs and parked the vehicle in secure parking for 4 USD/ day. From there at 12:30 a resort speed boat took us to the resort. An hour later we were there. The trip cost 20 USD/head, one way. The accommodation, one bedroom apartment, was very nice considering the humidity in that area, just in front of the water channel. You may feel a light smell of mud, but nothing more. Everyone should be aware that the resort in located on an island so not much to do there. Cross the larger water channel is Crisan Village. The swimming pool looks good, but we did not come there for a pool. The food is good, mostly based on fish. Are many excursions available by boat, but should be at least 5 people that would like to go. Each excursion will cost you 20 USD/head. However, do not miss the trips to Letea Forest , lakes, the wild area of Danube Delta, and the rendezvous area between Danube Delta and Black Sea. The personnel si very friendly and useful.
