We had a super stay, our Executive Room was clean, well appointed and had a super bay view. We dined in the restaurant one night where we found the food to be excellent. The breakfast was first class with a varied choice to suit most tastes. The only small complaint was the orange juice which had a very weird flavour.

We stayed for one night as we were visiting my brother in a care home. We were amazed at the standards of this hotel, staff, food, room, the hotel itself ,decor all in good order. Ok the parking is lacking but the staff told us what to do and it was fine The evening meal was perfect and I unfortunately am a fussy eater, the breakfast a full English was just that, full. A pot of tea in Welsh looking pot for me and poached eggs and coffee for my wife all served by caring and attentive staff. We begrudgingly left this hotel to drive home. This was our first stay in a hotel in the UK for many a year and wow what a surprise. These package holiday hotels could learn a lot from this hotel. A big thank you to all at the Caerlwylan hotel ,you helped us enjoy our visit to see my poorly brother.

Well I booked a table at the Caerwylan Restaurant after reading the amazing reviews about the hotel and I wanted a special place to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. Upon arrival as we were non residents the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were seated in a beautiful room and had the pleasure of having Haf as our waitress . Wow what a lovely young lady with a lovely aura absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her. Haf was a breath of fresh air, she was so happy and always had a smile. Haf was polite and happy in her job and this shone through as it also did with the other staff we came across . The food well all we can say was WOW !!!! The steak my husband said was the best he has had in a long time and the sea bass was absolutely delicious what a beautiful meal. The desserts the same my husband had the sticky toffee pudd and I had the cheesecake the chef is amazing and we did tell Haf to kindly pass on our compliments. The views were exceptional and breathtaking what an amazing experience and we will be definitely back. The hotel is spotless and beautiful decor Thank you again to all the wonderful staff at the Caerwylan Hotel we will see you again soon

This was our 2nd stay at the Caerwylan and definitely won't be our last! The reception team were outstanding from the start of booking until we left the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, overlooking the castle which looked lovely lit up at night. The breakfasts and breakfast staff were amazing. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit out in the garden. The hotel is only a short walk from the shops, seafront, station and bus stops. We will be back later in the year!

We come to Criccieth to enjoy coastal walks and this was our 4th stay at the Caerwylan Hotel and it lived up to our expectations yet again. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with wonderful sea views. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the cooked element just as we requested. We also ate in the restaurant on two evenings and the dinners were delicious. This was all made memorable by the helpful, very pleasant and friendly staff in all parts of the hotel. We will be back!

On our second visit to the Caerwylan Hotel, my wife and I spent five nights there. I can report that it is still an amazing place. which is so peaceful and tranquil. As soon as we had walked through the front door for the first time, we both felt thoroughly relaxed and this feeling stayed with us until we left. Our comfortable well furnished room had superb views of the sea and the castle. The housekeeping team are still excellent with the highest standards and our room was kept immaculately clean. The whole hotel is run quietly and efficiently, whilst maintaining a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast each morning in the restaurant was again excellent and delivered by lovely team of staff, who are committed to ensuring that you fully enjoy the experience. The reception staff were very friendy and always made us feel at home. So a big thank you to Abigail, Yvonne and Gwyn. Also a big thank you to Haf, who efficiently took our booking, whilst making it so easy, I also need to extend my big thanks to the ever present Laura, who has many roles and is a great leader especially in the front of house role in the restaurant. Finally big thanks to all the unnamed staff, who made our stay so hugely enjoyable. This year we had glorious sunny weather and we were able to sit in the hotel's wonderful garden with a glass of wine from the bar. Despite being a poor gardener myself, the lovely flowers and bushes has inspired me to take a better interest in my own garden. We will be back.
