We stayed for one night as we were visiting my brother in a care home. We were amazed at the standards of this hotel, staff, food, room, the hotel itself ,decor all in good order. Ok the parking is lacking but the staff told us what to do and it was fine The evening meal was perfect and I unfortunately am a fussy eater, the breakfast a full English was just that, full. A pot of tea in Welsh looking pot for me and poached eggs and coffee for my wife all served by caring and attentive staff. We begrudgingly left this hotel to drive home. This was our first stay in a hotel in the UK for many a year and wow what a surprise. These package holiday hotels could learn a lot from this hotel. A big thank you to all at the Caerlwylan hotel ,you helped us enjoy our visit to see my poorly brother.

Great staff, great food, comfortable room, great location. Everything as you want and expect. I went with my wife for a short break and used it as a base for sightseeing and visiting local attractions. We have no hesitation in recommending it.

Another great stay at the Caerwylan. This time in one of their executive sea front rooms. Views are incredible and room 15 is definitely the best room in the hotel, great double fronted bay window overlooking the sea front and the castle. The staff are incredible here, nothing is too much trouble they are always very welcoming and their customer service is outstanding, from the cleaners up to the managers they all work as one team. Food here is wonderful, hats off to the chef. It never disappoints. Can't wait to return later in the year. Thanks Francis and your great team.

Three wonderful days spent at this delightful hotel. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. We couldn’t fault the staff, always so helpful. Having such a relaxing lounge with superb views in every direction was a real treat. We would certainly recommend the Caerwylan

WE STOPPED OFF HERE DURING SMALL TOUR OF NORTH WALES WITH MY 86 YEAR OLD MUM. WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY, THE LOCATION WAS FABULOUS RIGHT ON THE LLYN ESTUARY. THE HOTEL MANAGER WAS VERY HELPFUL ESPECIALLY WITH OUR BAGS ON ARRIVAL TO A SMALL STREET. PARKING WAS EASILY AVAILABLE. WOULD'VE BEEN LOVELY TO HAVE LONGER TO LOOK AROUND THE AREA BUT WE HAD TO BE OFF EARLY THE FOLLOWING MORNING. THE WELCOME WAS GREAT AND FOOD AND ROOMS FABULOUS. DINNER AND BREAKFAST WERE SUPER TASTY AND WELL COOKED WITH PLENTY OF CHOICE. ROOMS REALLY COMFORTABLE.

This is our favourite hotel. The most comfortable beds, clean beautifully decorated rooms, lovely friendly staff, and delicious choice of evening meals. Lots of options for breakfast. I am reluctant to post a review, it’s one of those gems one wants to keep to one’s self, but it wouldn’t be fair to the hotel. We will be back very soon, ❤️

This is a gem of a hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea with a view to the castle as well. There is a lovely little bar with a great selection of gins and some excellent wines. Friday evening we ate at the hotel. The chef prepares outstanding dishes beautifully presented. The staff are excellent and can’t do enough for you. To top it off breakfast is amazing with a variety of dishes to suit every taste. If you’re looking for a base to explore the Llyn Peninsula the Caerweylan is highly recommended.

This was my third stay at the Caerwylan, which says plenty in itself. The welcome is always genuinely friendly with check in that is quick and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and a very good size, with spacious bathroom. They are very clean and the service is always good. The breakfasts are excellent, with lots of choice of both hot and cold food. The food quality is also excellent and it is nicely cooked and with quick and friendly service. The view from my chosen room was very nice, looking up towards Criccieth's impressive castle but if you decide on a room at the front of the hotel (which I have done previously), the view across Ceredigion bay towards Harlech and beyond is spectacular. The separate off-road parking was much appreciated and only a few dozen steps from the hotel. I can highly recommend the Caerwylan.
