On checking we were told that our evening meal booking had been cancelled, literally no notice and we were counting on evening meal that evening, meal was prepaid and a week later I am still waiting for my refund!! Premier Inn refused our request to pay for a taxi to a restaurant within 3 miles. They offered Crewe west premier with meal deal but again refused to pay for our transport costs. Therefore due to this we have been left out of pocket through no fault of our own (we travelled by train to the town, so no own transport). They honoured breakfast next morning, but quality of the breakfast was very poor. Complained to reception, they said need to speak to customer relations - i have tried a few times to get through but each time gave up after being on hold 15 mins each time. Poor show Premier Inn, we have enjoyed many good booking with yourselves, but on this occasion you have badly let us down and was an awful start to our holiday. We booked this premier inn as it was offering evening meal (prepaid) and was close to the railway station.
