This place is the worst hotel I've stayed at ever. We are on the road 300 days a year I see alot of dumps but the guy behind the counter takes the award for the biggest douch of the year. Stayed here because all hotels were booked at more then double this losers rate. He only had about 6 cars in the gravel lot stay in your car before here!!!!

Needed a place to stay overnight with a close drive to Lincoln. Price was affordable, staff was very friendly, room was clean and organized. I would recommend staying here 8-10. For a Saturday evening there was plenty of parking and room was quiet.

Smell in lobby permeates everything. Threadbare linens and stained bed coverlet. No breakfast. No internet info. Won’t stay here again. Go to Fairfield Inn or stay at an Air bnb in Wilber.

Our reservation was canceled without our knowledge. We were coming to Crete for a funeral and had to sleep in our car. I phoned the desk to alter them of a late arrival and there was no answer. I was told that they called me multiple times to check on my arrival, but I did not have any missed calls and my reservation shouldn’t have been canceled without my knowledge. We came to Crete for a funeral and ended up without a place to sleep.

The night check in person was arguing with person in pay out on one of their poker machines in lobby and left me standing at check in station. The lobby smelled of vape and they shut your TV down at night just local in morning. NO BREAKFAST. Poor customer service. Clean room though. No worth the $$$&

Breakfast is limited and tastes old and stale, be ready for a 3rd world stay, if you can stay somewhere else do it, if not then good luck, and don't ask for anything or you might get kicked out, hotel is not managed good period.

Older hotel, very dated furniture in rooms. Appeared pretty clean with some mediocre upgrades, but room smelled and no breakfast to speak of. I’d rate it more of a 2, but it is provably average for this old and type of hotel.

Facilities have continued to be upgraded over the past 2 years. Quiet, and affordable with a decent breakfast. Crete is small so you’re close to Doane University and everything else. It’s not a 5 star resort but I’ve stayed in some rat holes over the years and this is not one! Management is cordial and will help with any problems. Half the cost of the newer place in town! Why pay double?

Budget price, bare-bones operation. Towels and sheets were certainly washed but threadbare and permanently stained. Headboards and wall art were nice and new but other aspects of the room and property old and outdated. Given the low price, it was an okay clean enough room for a quick overnight on a long road trip, but not by any means a vacation-type hotel.
