Premier Inn Stafford North (Spitfire)

My sister and I stayed as we travelled up from South Wales to visit Alton Towers. After listening to the person upstairs walking about for a while I asked at reception if there were any rooms on the second floor, unfortunately there were none. The lovely receptionist offered to ask the person to tread quieter and it did die down in the end. I think the flooring is awful as any noise carries easily. I got about 30 mins sleep in the end as I was very anxious after this, and the rooms felt very hot, stuffy but also dry? Went through a whole bottle of water that night! We ended up having to leave my car there after Alton Towers as I was in no fit state to drive after 30 mins sleep so was a bit of a faff.... The staff were absolutely lovely though and I know it's just one of those things that there isn't really a good solution for. I wouldn't stay at this particular premier inn again maybe unless I could guarantee a room on the top floor.

Basic amenities available. Clean and tidy room. Comfortable bed but could have done with extra pillows. Unfortunately the walls and ceilings are paper thin. People slamming doors all night. Neighbour above us coughing throughout the night. Loud footsteps heard. Like having a giant living above us! Fortunately no traffic disturbed us because of the double windows. Shower worked and hairdryer available. Unfortunately we will nit be staying again due to the all the noises keeping us all awake after a 4 hour commute.

Nice location for a visit to Stafford and the surrounding area. Room was decent size, very clean and quiet. Decent size free car park. Staff very helpful and friendly. Decent meals at the restaurant next door. We only ate in the evening so can't comment on the breakfast. Overall well worth the visit. Love the address " Spitfire Close".

This was a great hotel staff and food excellent we will definitely stay again it meet all requirements

Stayed here many times but sadly this time wasn’t great. We were chased to checkout. The door was knocked at 11:50, 12:00 and 12:05. The shower leaked which flooded the bathroom floor. We had to mop this up with towels hence why we didn’t checkout bang on 12! We couldn’t make a cup of tea as the milk sachets were off and curdled the tea.

Clean hotel, the staff were very friendly. Young lady called Natalie was very helpful on reception. Breakfast was excellent too.

Just left today and wanted to say the staff were brilliant , especially Sharon as she went out of her way to please, told her I was cold in my room, next thing she brought up a portable heater for me , stop over on our way to Scotland, will definitely be back

Does what it says on the tin but with some really nice and friendly staff. Just a quick stopover to break up a journey onward to Scotland. Arrived quite late , around 8.30pm. Checked in at reception with Natalie who whizzed us through check in so we could make it in time to get something to eat over at the Brewers Fayre opposite. Jasmine greeted us and was most helpful along with Matt who was very kind and friendly. The trio of pies were delicious!!! It’s great to visit somewhere and have great service. I wish everywhere had a Natalie, a Jasmine and Matt to look after us.

Fantastic service from Beckie on reception, made the trip go ever so smooth for us, thank you Beckie :) Room was very clean and tidy, temperature just right for us. Beds extremely comfortable and extra pillows - bonus. Would definitely recommend this Premier Inn.
