We stayed here few weeks ago. What I can say? A fabulous welcome from Natalia and Thierry, this beautiful rustic chic farmhouse in rural France has much to offer as a restful retreat/bolthole. Delicious regional homemade culinary delights,local wine served and of course "L'Armagnac to discover. Local market to visit, La Bastide and Chateau De Roquetaillade. Definitely worth staying here for several days or passing by with a stop over. Would most definitely retur.

Michelle and Henri are so welcoming. Lovely room and house is in an incredibly quiet spot. Superb local food served on a wonderfully dressed table using beautiful linens and ceramics which Michelle sells in a barn next to the house. Hosts both very laid back and patient when we conversed using our GCSE French. Henri speaks good English.

We had a very enjoyable few days staying at Le Poutic. Our hosts, Isobel and Floran, made us very welcome. The accommodation was very comfortable and full of little touches which demonstrated their care and attention to detail. Breakfast and dinner were delightful. The swimming pool was great to cool off from the hot weather.

We visited Le Poulic by chance as we were driving through France and are so glad we happened upon it. Isabelle and Florent were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, even helping us to find somewhere to have dinner at the last minute when we arrived. The location is incredibly beautiful; there is a lovely modern pool surrounded by rolling views of the countryside. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, too. Thank you so much! We hope to return in the future!

Un contact plus qu'agréable dès le premier contact par mail, et alors la maison tout aussi sympathique et reposante. je suis d'accord avec les commentaires déjà laissés, y a rien à redire, les petits déjeuners excellents (chaque jour une petite douceur nouvelle, sans oublier le chocolat chaud maison d'Henry). Nos 2 petites (7 et 3 ans) étaient comme chez elles. Michelle nous a même proposée de les garder un soir si nous voulions profiter de notre soirée en amoureux. Le dîner partagé avec Michelle et Henry a laissé un merveilleux souvenir à mes papilles. Merci encore pour tout ça...

Nous allons régulièrement dans les Landes,souvent déçus, nous avons enfin trouvé le logement qui nous convient. L'accueil des propriétaires, les chambres spacieuses, très confortables et rénovée avec beaucoup de goût.Sans parler de l'excellente cuisine de Michelle et Henri. Tout cela nous fera revenir. Grâce à ce cadeau, nous avons pu découvrir une bien belle région (Merci à Henri pour ses conseils de visite) sans doute le plus beau coin des Landes en limite du Gers. Les bastides, le paysage vallonné et couvert de vignes changent de l'idée que l'on se fait des Landes. Nous avons également apprécié l’accueil de Michelle et Henri (exubérant mais cependant discret) qui nous ont fait découvrir les richesses gustatives de la région (foie gras, armagnac mais aussi les vins, hélas peu connus en région parisienne). Un conseil: prévoyez une salade verte pour reposer vos papilles au retour! La maison est vraiment confortable (toutefois un peu de bruit entre les chambres) et la décoration moderne se mêle agréablement au caractère rustique du bâtiment. Pour le stage foie gras, nous avons apprécié la disponibilité et la patience de Thierry et l'accueil de son épouse. Un petit regret cependant: nous aurions souhaité moins de découpe et plus de cuisine pratique. Au total plein de (bonnes) découvertes : le pays, les bastides, la cuisine, l'élaboration du foie gras et de l'armagnac ... et les landais!
