Best Hotels near San Michele Vetere, Cremona

The hotel staff is very good and the location is very convenient

I was dismissed from the hospital last night after an operation in the day Hospital. The operation ended late and not being from Cremona with the bad weather and night I didn't feel like to make a car trip. I decide to stay on the site and they recommend that I go to Viscondi hotel site just 200 m. I walk, in the reception there is no look more than 5 minutes ... no one, I try to show me in the room, finally approaching an old lady who teams me from head to foot (I was in a dress and a cravatta of Marinella, and a wet from the rainfall) . I wonder if he had a free room and here comes the beautiful : he says immediately whispering that he believes that he does ... then pretends to look on the screen where I see clearly that there was no screen inherent to the rooms and reaffirms that the hotel was all The hotel is a very good hotel, and the hotel is a good hotel.

We stayed in this hotel with 4 other colleagues in full pension, we were a month. Seeing the hotel and restaurant from outside would deserve much more than 3 stars, and even inside it is not less. Very nice and very friendly staff, I personally want to thank Nadia, the restaurant manager, a handsome person, has been able to support us for a month ... Breakfast is excellent! Great choice of bricks, gluten-free merendy, lactose-free milk, fresh Macedonia every morning 🔝 The restaurant also makes pizza both at noon and evening, I advise you, really very good, Roas beef one of the best I eat to not talk about spaghetti to sea fruit and garlic on the plate!! 😋, the portions are plenty and the menu changes day by day, I forgot how to studschino the evening always brought us the very good genovese fox! I found myself stranded in Cremona for the evening due to a cancelled train, and when the first hotel I booked let me down I found myself staying here for a night. As it turned out, this wasn’t at all an unpleasant stay. Room was sizeable and clean, comfortable double bed with Sky TV and a kettle with a few teabags. There’s a vending machine at the lobby, and the location is actually very central if you’re not arriving in a rush one night. About 15 min walk from the train, and surrounded by shops in the city centre. I didn’t have time to sample the breakfast, but the restaurant looked lovely, my only real complaint was that the started digging up the road literally outside the hotel at around 8am in the morning. I know not strictly the hotels fault but it did marr my stay

It takes five minutes to take a taxi from the hotel to the hotel We took a taxi and three pieces of luggage and it took us about twelve chance encounters Those who want to take the bus can go to piazza Cavalli. If the bus ticket remains unchanged, one yuan two to one five yuan per person The room can have an extra bed and the location is very good right in the center of the city there is a parking lot at the door The hotel should be considered a relatively modern hotel in Europe I used to eat in the restaurant on the roof and the first floor of this hotel when I was at school in piacenza Stayed for two days on this tour The hotel is very good and the facilities are relatively complete Afternoon tea or appetivo, you can choose to go to the top of the building The scenery is really nice It's a pity that the suites are all booked during this stay really like I hope I can live in a suite next time.

The reason I am giving this 2 stars is because I  sleeped awfully in the bed, I found my mattress very uncomfortable. To be fair my wife next to me slept like a log. The picture quality on the TV was very good indeed, so much so I am making a comment about it.  A printed list of the channels would have been very useful. No idea why the channels we had were advertised as ”premium”.  The only English channels we finally found were 3 news channels.  Apart from films you would have on any normal Italian TV, no other films. WiFi was very good. The Bathroom was very nice, with an ample supply of good towels.  We went for the half board option.  Glad we did.  The food in the restaurant was very good, we could order any 2 dishes from the menu. We ordered our selves 2 glasses of wine with our meal.  After we finished I offered to pay for these extra.  I was very surprised to be told they were included in our meal deal. Good food and service, good value for money.  All the staff we spoke to had good English, and were very welcoming Covid restrictions like the whole of England were now very limited. The staff had mask, but no restrictions on us guests. So for the first time in maybe 2 years we found ourselves sharing a lift with 2 unmasked individuals.  This is going to become the new normal (again).  If you are not happy with this situation your only option would be not to travel. This is not a criticism of this hotel, just  a comment on governments policy's.  On going down for breakfast I was initially disappointed they was no all singing coffee machine, only a filter one.  After a couple of minutes I realised other residents were asking the serving staff to bring them their favourite coffee from the kitchen which they freshly made. Why not display a notice stating this? Compared to any  humble French hotel the bread quality was poor. However the selection of sliced cold meats was very good. They also had cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. The fruit juice  offered was not the real thing. I can't remember when I had such a poor night's sleep in a hotel, so we will not be going back, which in many whys is a shame. 

Perfect business Hotel , but also for Families. The breakfast was very big and nice. Save Parking inside. Rooms are well and comfortable. Our stay was just one night but issues with checki in or out. For a ride in the old city of Piazenca you need only five minutes with car or Taxi. The city is nice to eat or shopping something.
