We stayed here for three nights on an unpowered site. There are lots of sites, but all ‘tucked into’ trees, etc. so pretty private. There are some tight turns on some of the areas and interesting pathways. We found it a quiet and restful place to spend our time and is in an excellent location for day trips to the surrounding areas. It is a lovely rustic bushland setting alongside a picturesque tidal creek and sandy beach. We didn’t, unfortunately, see any Pademelons or possums but there was plenty of birdlife. The amenities were basic, and you do need coins (20c/$1) for the two showers but they functioned well. There was a large camp kitchen which we only used for our Nespresso, but seemed to have plenty of cooking equipment around. . We walked down to the creek a couple of times and excellent to be there for sunset. Good stay all round.

We stayed in the Spa House which is no longer listed on their website as available to book so I won't review it. Crayfish Creek is a great location to base yourself to visit the many attractions of Tasmania's north west. These include Wynyard, Table Cape, Stanley, Smithton, Dip Falls, Trowutta Arch and The Tarkine Rainforest.

Crayfish Fish Creek cabin park is a rustic bush setting adjacent to a stunning tidal creek and sandy beach. Huge grassy sites visited by pademelons in the evening and birds during the day. The toilet and shower block is dated but functions well. The Camp Kitchen is HUGE and would be very comfortable in cold, wet windy weather. The place is close to Stanley with the famous Nut and Highfield House and Boat Harbour with its beautiful sandy beach. Dip Falls and the Big Tree are located a short drive away and the Blue Hills Honey Farm serves excellent coffee and cakes for morning tea! The cabin park is quiet, protected from road noise and coastal winds and we will definitely be back when visiting the North again.

Never ever will we camp here again!! The girls built a tiny cubby house out of 3 fern leaves that someone had cut down and the 2 males that inspect the park blamed the girls for destroying the habitat and made them cry because they were so mean also said we would loose our bond because of the fire pit which they inspected once we set up and they charged us a $15 inspection fee that we didn’t know about u til we realised we have been charged twice, so nearly $600 for 3 nights the fire is tiny compared to others and we don’t have any music going or doing the wrong thing!! When I went to reception after the girls took the cubby down I was met by both the owners and again the man verbally attacked me u til I was in tears and his wife told him to cut it and and pushed him into another room. We spoke to a lot of people that were there camping over the weekend and they won’t be going back because of similar issues!! Dale and his son are certainly nasty people and we will never support them again!

Cabins very ordinary. Camp kitchen ok. Toilets ok, showers were for a fee and not worth it. Whole park smelled of septic toilet system. Nice setting but very cool in the shade. Had to pay for fire pot. Won’t be back.

Love this place. A perfect balance of traditional caravan park amenities and conveniences, and secluded bush camping. Owners are lovely, friendly and willing to help out to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Location is great for exploring the region, or just staying close to camp to enjoy the nearby beach, river and walks. Well worth adding to your agenda. Give yourself several days to enjoy and appreciate what this gem of a spot has to offer

First stop after coming off Spirit of Tasmania. Only a couple of hours drive. Lovely quirky little park. Loved the cabin looks. If you like some quiet time amongst the bushland then this is the place. The lady at the reception was wonderful. Thanks

Had a wonderfully long stay in March 2021 (sorry had to put March 2022 as the official selection wouldn't go back any further), with our little dog and enjoyed many walks along the water's edge and into the natural bush-land throughout the park. Trees have right-of-way here and so there is lots of fresh air and privacy....it's a rare occurrence when the owners leave the trees alone, so congrats to you both! Plenty of shade but also lots of beautiful sunny spots near the sparkling water. Stayed in a house that was lovely. The beach is a short walk away. Great friendly service from the hosts.
