A very enjoyable lunch today to celebrate a special family occasion. We received a warm, friendly welcome and were promptly shown to a very nice, spacious table for our party of three. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal’s from the Festive Menu, the food was delicious and piping hot. We were very well looked after by Charlotte and Alex, all the staff were very friendly & helpful and there was such a lovely ambience, dim lighting and beautiful Christmas lights made it very special! Look forward to returning soon.

Afternoon tea was a real treat. I have been here many times and love the old inn atmosphere. It was a family celebration and we really enjoyed the tasty treats on offer. We also appreciated the complimentary refills on our selected teas and coffees with our food. It wasn't busy, and we had a lovely big table in the main restaurant, very comfortable with plush cushions. In the past I've experienced big problems with parking, which is limited and honestly this has often put me off from visiting more frequently, however on this occasion we had no difficulty getting into the car park. Staff were pleasant and standard of food was very good. We had a lovely selection of savouries and sandwiches, with beautifully fresh scones and some really pretty sweet treats. All in all a perfect afternoon. I will definitely be going again.

Firstly, Very welcoming staff and lovely hotel. I had chose the old in for a more relaxation stay, as I am 34 weeks pregnant. However, technical issues did arise and our electric blew in our triple bedroom, due to one of the side bed reading lights being switched on, which sparked and started smoking. Staff attended which they later could not fix. The 3 of us did initially take this with some humour but now reflecting back on it, 2 of us are heavily pregnant and it did cause great discomfort with the room change and the moving of our bags. We were moved to what we could describe as a standard 2 person bedroom. The management supplied a pullout spring mattress/sofa which we all believe was unacceptable as it was very uncomfortable. We were thankful with how helpful the staff were, although myself and my other pregnant friend gave up our double bed for my sister who was very uncomfortable because of the spring mattress on the pullout bed being so thin. Two of us had no other choice but to go back to our old room with no electric as we were completely exhausted and none of us would have gotten any sleep. We were not in the position to drive home at 1am with myself being 34 weeks pregnant and the other being 30 weeks pregnant. As a result, we were giving a free drink and a late checkout. We were told that we would be welcomed back for another stay, although we were told this on the 19/02/25. Our stay was 4 days ago, which now I feel that I have to chase the hotel for communication in relation to previous promises and further communication. I have had no contact from the hotel up until now. We paid for a 3 person stay, although had the experience of a 2 person stay, no extra towels for the next morning, the bedroom services were for guests up to 2 people, therefor 1 of us always ended up disadvantaged. When checking out, we were not given any reassurance and quickly dismissed. I had given my feedback to the hotels website and thought because of the lack of communication I’d further my opinion and experience onto trip advisor. I have just read that this issue was raised only 1 week ago with another family who experienced the exact same problems and lack of communication! This is completely and shockingly unacceptable that this room was available, which allowed 3 of us to stay in a completely dangerous environment that clearly was not fixed!! Thankfully now that I have acknowledged the previous review, I will be escalating the severity of this situation so that following customers/residents will not be placed in such an uncomfortable, dangerous situation that they can hopefully avoid and save their money.

We recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Old Inn in Crawfordsburn, specifically at the pet-friendly 1614 restaurant. As a proud "fur mum," this was a wonderful perk for me! It was our first visit to The Old Inn, and I can confidently say it won't be our last. The entire experience was exceptional, and I must commend the staff—who were both friendly and professional— for their outstanding service.

The best hotel l've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Everything was just amazing. The check in was so personal and the staff were so lovely. The room was cosy, warm and spotlessly clean. The treetop spa was the best part of all, we could have spent all night there! The food was delicious. The Old Inn is truly a magical place.

We stayed on a 2 night deal with breakfast each morning and one evening meal. Everything was excellent from when we arrived and opened the door to a wood burning open fire. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Jodie. The room was clean, superb and so comfortable. The breakfast had a good choice of continental food and the cooked breakfasts were so tasty. We had one evening meal and it was a delight to enjoy a steak in the beautiful surroundings. We made use of the spa facilities and had a wee drink in the hot tub, excellent environment for it. The only problem we had were a few wasps about trying to sip our drinks but sure it is that time of the year. Overall we had a wonderful experience, well done to everyone.

Had the nicest stay here, staff were amazing, special thanks to Jodie for the welcoming reception, Charlotte for showing us to that amazing room. ( The Baytree) I was totally overwhelmed, Lewis for the drinks at the pool and the lovely gentleman who brought our cases up. The spa was just perfect and what we needed. We look forward to returning.
