The hotel is very good, although it is a bit old. There are not many people staying there, maybe because it is expensive.

This hotel hasn’t change in over 50 years. It’s old, badly kepted up, service, and food horrible. They rate themselves as 5 star. The hotel association should inspect it. I have never had an over charged place so bad in Crans in all the years I’ve been there.

The worst 5 star hotel I have ever seen. The hotel is very old - not modernised the carpets are more than worn - all in all the time and cleanliness has stopped 30 years ago. The rooms are not even 1 star. The service in the restaurant is not good is not trained. The breakfast is a disaster. The prices are just a rip-off.

The hotel is wonderful! Elegant decore, great breakfast and amazing view on the golf course. All staff is kind and helpful. We had a lovely stay. Amazing marble bathroom with double basin, jacuzzi and separate shower. Spend time in the pool and gym and relaxed 100%!

I reserved for my parents for a week. Old small bedroom, with old SMELLY carpet and old bathrooms. None of the usuals 5 star service or amenities ( forget the Nespresso machine, not even a tiny kettle in the room). Elevator with no door which didn’t even think existed anymore… But what’s worst is by far is the restaurant: the food is frankly bad and I felt awful seeing my parents suffering because they needed to go out to external restaurants just to have something decent even if they are old and tired. And the cherry on the cake? My mom asked for a camomille tea at the bar after dinner. The barman offered to bring it upstairs because she was tired. And charged 27CHF for it. It’s only perk is that it’s conveniently located, and the Italian staff is friendly and nice, but if you are looking for a 5 star hotel, I would advise you to avoid. It’s an absolute never again for us.

We spent our Christmas holidays in this Palace, luxury room with a view, service extremely efficient, ski shuttle and driver, the Italian restaurant was divine! The Spa Cellcosmet was a new discovery! The massages very relaxing and the swimming pool a dream We hope to come back with the rest of our family in February

Not the hotel it apparently used to be! Dirt, dirt, dirt everywhere, rude general manager (Aloysia Ghio-Airaldi-Rielle) and poor state of building facilities. The experience we had in this hotel was far away from 5 stars (as advertised on booking sites). The owners clearly treat this hotel as a golden goose and don’t invest in it at all. The hotel is in dire need of repairs and upgrades, and the staff is doing their best to barely keep it going. 1. The rooms are extremely dirty with stains everywhere, and the furnitures are not functioning (cabinet doors held closed by paper, etc so it’s not falling open). 2. The common area is disgusting, every chair in the restaurant has stains on it, the walls are also stained and marked everywhere. 3. Spa is a disaster, steam bath is so old and not renovated, that the pieces of the wall stay in your body when you touch it (see the picture). The sauna was not working. 4. General manager Aloysia Rielle is rude, behaves like she is doing you a favor to let you stay there. Terrible and completely unprofessional treatment. Conversations with her are on the level of a 5 year old. She’s also saying to your face that the hotel doesn’t have a 5 star rating and the ranking on websites is not certified by the Swiss Hotels Association. 5. The crew doesn’t speak English, menu in the restaurant is not in English and no one is able to translate it properly. If you like clean hotels and a nice experience, this one is definitely not for you. Suggest you find something else in beautiful Crans Montana.

Old hotel, mold on the ceiling around the windows. Cobwebs in the room. In the morning at lunch, drops of water fell on me. I look up, there were yellowish cracks on the ceiling. I told the butler he said yes yes we know it's been a while. Completely normal, paying 500.- a night and having all that. Lunch orange juice in granini bottles. For a 5 star just unacceptable. The only positive point is the very kind and helpful staff. But the rest leaves something to be desired.
