Top stay and restaurant.. really suggest this place for a walk in the top mountains close to the hotel. Really suggested. Go there. Should go there.. at least for eating something traditionally… we had dinner in this place with my girlfriend and we were really satisfied

Good mountain hotel at fair prices with renovated, clean, spacious and well-furnished rooms. Average breakfast. Helpful staff. Little parking and a somewhat isolated location. We did not try the restaurant so no comment on lunch and dinner.

Very long waits (actually they forgot our order; you would expect a small discount or a free drink but… nothing). Poor quality pizzas (electric oven). Didn't try other dishes. Nice atmosphere, quite welcoming.

We arrived by motorbike on a Tuesday evening in May, with rain, everything closed nearby...there were no guests at the restaurant, but Mrs. Anna welcomed us with kindness and opened the restaurant room and the kitchen for the two of us. We ate a fantastic mixed cheese/cold cuts platter and 2 perfect rosemary slices, well cooked, tasty, abundant. The giardiniera accompanying the platter was excellent. Today at lunchtime I found myself near Margno in Alta Valsassina and I remembered this nearby Hotel - Restaurant close to the Provincial Road. This restaurant also offers a work menu for lunch at 13 euros during the week. The location is clean and in mountain style, nothing to object to the dining room, everything OK. I went for lunch on a weekday and, perhaps due to the low season or something else, the turnout was minimal. The few dishes on the menu were decent, at least the ones I chose, without infamy or praise. If I have to find a flaw I would say to include at least one first course and one second course more in the menu, because choosing between gorgonzola gnocchi and butter and sage gnocchi is not the best, then I repeat what I ate quite satisfied me. Obviously the quality/price ratio must also be taken into consideration, which is good. All in all I can't say that it is highly recommended but it is definitely recommended. If I happen to find myself in those parts I will certainly return, perhaps finding a nice plate of pizzoccheri or sciat.

Beautiful structure surrounded by greenery, very quiet. Cozy room in which there was everything you needed. The third additional bed was perfect. The bathroom was excellent with products and towels. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast with everything you need with food for all tastes.

Also this year in August I spent a few days in Valsassina and stayed again in this structure. Very beautiful, renovated, with lots of greenery, relaxing and well-kept, the structure has been further improved, you can clearly see the work done both externally and internally. There is also a sauna area! In the rooms everything is new and comfortable. The kindness and service are the same as always. Always an excellent restaurant!
