They’re not very nice. They’re very prejudice.

This is the first hotel I have stayed in that has a kitchen. Cooking instant noodles by yourself saves money. The key is to make your stomach feel comfortable. The air conditioner is next to the bed and it's very noisy. I didn't sleep well at night.

Airamist Darby was such a pleasure at the front desk and so incredibly helpful. I travel quite a bit for work and my sons sports, and I’ve never encountered such friendly and helpful staff when staying at hotels. She went above and beyond to assist me with my needs and made sure to follow through. Wish every hotels staff was as welcoming and pleasant as she was. She truly deserves a promotion. -Jessica Kalogeras R.I.

I've stayed here *tons* of times over the years, and have given these folks the benefit of the doubt each time there has been an issue (read: nearly every time). Between shoddy maintenance and a facility long overdue for a renovation (it really has gotten pretty dingy), I've still continued to stay here when I'm in the area because they're pet friendly. Until now. Dogs are suddenly sequestered to the first floor, on top of being charged a $100 pet fee. We left and found a different hotel for the night. Sorry, but I don't much care for first floor rooms where passing pedestrians can look right in. Marriott's customer service folks weren't aware of this policy and were sympathetic enough, but still... The practical effect is that this location has lost our business. We travel through Cranbury often, so this truly does mean they've lost a regular customer.

I hate leaving bad reviews and have almost never done so. Every interaction I've had with the front desk has been unprofessional to a degree. I changed my trip Wednesday l to leave a day early for Christmas and they checked me out same day... I came back to the hotel after work and entered my room to write some emails late In the afternoon when a hotel worker entered the room and apologized because he believed it to be empty. Checked the app and it stated I had already checked out. Called the number for the site and spoke with a receptionist who was not very helpful and ultimately told me I only booked a 2 day trip (untrue but i understand thats what she was seeing as the reservation had been manually changed to 2 days instead of 3) I had to go to the front desk. I did so and they added a night back to my stay. I travel over 150 days per year and recently switched to marriot and can honestly state that the issues I've had with marriot i never experienced with hilton or other chains. Being one of the top tiers with marriot (not that it matters but some hotel chains give you a bit of support for choosing them) I consistently have issues like this I have not experienced after travelling significantly for the last 5 years.

Hotel was not bad at all despite the reviews I read. The front desk was friendly. We had a two bedroom suite that was serviced daily. There was plenty of selection at breakfast. I came prepared to possibly switch hotels but everything was fine. My only two complaints were that you could hear the people in the room above, especially when they turned the bathroom light on, the fan was so loud. Also, the pool is closed indefinitely. It would be great if they reopened the pool.

The two stars are for the friendly staff - they were nice and didn't think twice about accommodating my last minute changes in travel plans. Otherwise, the hotel is outdated and borderline dirty. Certain amenities - like the advertised in-room fireplace - don't work. The $100 pet fee - in a hotel which really isn't all that clean to begin with - is clearly a money grab. Unfortunately, I think this was our last stay in this hotel - other nearby options are actually clean, aren't outdated, and don't take advantage of people who travel with pets.

I been a loyal bonvoy member for a long time now. I was a Ambassador Elite member but stop traveling because of Covid. So now I’m a Titanium Elite status with 145 days stay with bonvoy this year alone. I’m not writing this review over 1 rotten apple. This Residence inn is something else. Front desk manager Is a racist and a bully. He had something against me for what ever reason. I never stay at a hotel that is so rude and unprofessional. First off he didn’t like me and went out his way to make things really uncomfortable for me on my last day checking out. Not sure what his problem is but they should fire him. Came to my room around 1 pm with the house keeping lady and say he is there to do the wellness check. I asked him usually that is communicated with me somehow ahead of time. But his excuse is hotel policy if a tenant doesn’t get house keeping that they have to do a wellness check weekly. First off that is the 9th day and the day I’m checking out too. Like hotel policy? Hey buddy your 2 days late. A policy is a policy. It is set in stone. You cannot come 2 days late of your weekly wellness check Dan. He make this establishment look like a joke to be honest. I’m literally is checking out within a few hours but he want to make sure to make it uncomfortable for me and my guest. I opened the door for the two workers to come in, a wellness check means to make sure both guess is ok and alive right? We had the one bedroom suite. So my friend came out the room and now all four of us is in the living room part. So that should be it right? Both of the guest is here and in good health right? But no he took it upon himself to walk into the room and into the bathroom. For what? Thought it was a wellness check? But it wasn’t that. That was his excuse he used to come and make sure that me and my guest feel uncomfortable. And once they left I pretty much filed a complaint thru bonvoy and is in the process of filing a lawsuit. They over charged me almost $800. Yes it is a authorization hold/pending. But that just hold up my funds for no reason at all. I’m paid in full the day i checked out. But here I’m still suffering from what that establishment did to me. I know they know they just picking on me. Especially Dan he is just a racist bully. I’m sure he knows exactly what he is doing. And I just pray that no one else has to suffer like me. I’m not going let 1 individual that is miserable ruin the relationship I do have with bonvoy. I just recommend not to go there if that bully works there. I have everything to prove my story and my review here.

The Marriott Residence Inn Cranbury-S. Brunswick is the filthiest Marriott property I have ever stayed in. There were cobwebs hanging down from my bedroom ceiling and spider nests in the corner of my bedroom. In case anyone doesn't believe me, I took photos. I also received bites on my arms from some sort of insect/pest in this room that resulted in big red welts. Shame on you, Marriott. You can do better than this.
