We gave service a 3 because of the food at the resort.
The food was absolutly awful. Every meal was disappointing, and we ended up with stomach problems for the rest of the trip. The food we ate the few places we ate off site were fantastic, which made us sad every time we came back for dinner.

We had a great stay at Allegro! We were there for 8 days and the resort was beautiful. All the staff members were very kind and attentive. There are several activities throughout the day so you never worry about getting bored! The beach area is amazing and plenty shaded with palms. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, we will for sure be back!

What a fantastic resort. The property was beautiful and very clean. We participated in everything we could. The staff was excellent and helped ensure that you enjoyed your stay. We would go back. Make sure you go snorkeling and go to all the entertainment provided.

Beware of upgrade to premium. They didn’t have any room but offered us premium for top shelf alcohol, wait service at premium pool and more reservations to restaurants. They said it would be $400.00 US. But they would not take cash not credit cards. Total scam! They told us after we paid to not tell anyone. This was the manager! Bar tender at premium would not give us top shelf saying it was for Occidental Vacations only. He was always so rude. So service at the pool. I don’t recommend upgrading to premium.

We tried to extend our stay by 2 days and one individual, twice said Allegro was booked. I called the number on website and low and behold, we got to keep our same room for 2 more nights.

Rooms are very small. TV did not work. Food mediocre at best. Most staff was friendly. Beach was nice.
