Lovely characterful guest house in a perfect location. We stayed in the Lilly Pilly Room - a cosy room with a perfect selection of breakfast goodies allowing you to fit breakfast around your plans. The lovely landlady had many suggestions of things to do and where to eat in the local area, and kindly put the heating and light on for us the night we went to see the penguins, which was great as we had chosen a very cold evening for it. Wished we had been able to stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay, the very nice room and the fantastic breakfast. The hostess was very informative and friendly. The house is located very close to the beach and restaurants. Parking is in the street in front of the house at no cost.

A splendid stay Difficult to fault Friendly host,great location..we walked easily to the beach,the shops & restaurants.The renovated propertyhad lots of charactercharacter,a great serve yourself breakfast in our room Pretty good value. We would strongly recommend this to others

Excellent accommodation. The host was very friendly and helpful on arrival. Room was lovely and full of character as well as very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast provided in the room, of yoghurt, fresh fruit and homemade granola, orange juice and more, was perfect. The location is quiet but only a short walk to beach and easy drive to the Penguin Parade. The sound proofing between rooms is not perfect, but it did not prove to be a problem at all.

This is one of the most charming and beautiful bnb's that I've stayed in for a long time. In a great location, with great sized room and beautiful garden surrounds - I was treated to such a lovely experience at Genesta House - highly recommend for a relaxing weekend!!

Fantastic place with a fantastic host. This is by far one of the nicest places we ever visited. Simonne was the perfect host and went out of her way to give us the best experience ever. The room, garden and verandah were beautifully decorated, stylish and luxurious. Also all the items for breakfast were really nice. Each day there was a new homemade treat. Also really conveniently located, only a short while away from the beach in a quiet street. I can not recommend this place highly enough and we really hope to return.

Arrived to view the picturesque setting and lovely garden, greeted by friendly owner who showed us to our room, we were 3 couples who took over the b & b, this therefore made it easy to entertain without upsetting anyone, we were delighted with a serving of port and later with a cheese platter, location to beach and restaurants cafes is great, would go again

Genesta house is couple minutes walk to the beach and town centre where you will find great cafes and great dinning. The room is beautiful exceptionally clean. Simonne was a great host leaving us fabulous treats. The veranda was perfect for enjoying breakfast or that special treat in the evening. Simonne was very welcoming insight where to find good food and great dinning experience. Genesta is in the perfect spot very quite so you can relax taking in the beauty of your surroundings. We will be back later in the year.
