🙂 The hotel has an excellent geographical location, very close to the pier. There are supermarkets, bus stations, restaurants, etc. nearby. There is a seaside promenade at the back door of the hotel where you can take a walk and the sunset is beautiful.
The room is quite spacious
😮💨The hotel wifi is very weak and often disconnected
😔There is a bar downstairs in the hotel which is very noisy every night
Breakfast is not worth mentioning, the bread provided is not fresh

Yes this is a pub but wow what a breakfast offering. Excellent food at ‘wow’ prices. We went back a second morning as it was so good.

I came here on Wednesday evening for food. The atmosphere was really friendly and I found staff really friendly. The Mermaid gin was delicious and reasonably priced. However I didn't love the food, but I also wasn't expecting gourmet. I really enjoyed the live music and stayed for another drink as the band were so good. I would definitely return but for drinks only

Awful place with very strange landlord. We visited twice during Cowes week and were made to feel very unwelcome both times. Two other parties remarked to us that they felt uncomfortable at the stares the landlord was giving them and they left without being served. Another guy said he’d seen them water the drinks down - won’t return which is sad cos we’ve had some good nights there over the years

Very mediocre meal and quality seamed inconsistent to portions received by table sat next to us served half hour later. Totally ignored by owner whilst standing at the bar for more than 5 minutes while he watched videos on his phone. The girls working there were pleasant and appeared very hard working, witnessed owner speaking to one of them and again was very rude to her. Will never be entering the establishment again!

A vegan meal was £17 yet they forgot the vegan cheese and coleslaw. When asked the coleslaw wasn’t vegan and they ‘forgot’ the cheese. If you advertise a vegan meal you need to make sure it is vegan. Otherwise it’s false advertising! For £17 it was a dry burger and I won’t be revisiting.

Incredible value for money. We had a flawless 2 night stay. Absolutely no complaints. Incredible breakfasts included in price but only £5 if you walked in off the street . Every item on the plate hot , very rare in my vast experience 😉Great bar staff. Looked after luggage after checkout. Faultless.
