Room is great size and has all the basic amenities you'll need in a three star hotel. It's clean and definitely updated compared to how it used to look years ago. Unfortunately, there's no AC, bed is a bit smaller compared to standard hotel. Bathroom was leaking when showering. Tap needs greasing as it was a bit stiff to lift. W/C flush needs fixing so it flushes properly. WiFi was very slow and intermittent. The reception area as well as the building exterior unfortunately still looks tired and dated still after so many years. I wish they'd repaint it as it's next to the bus station. Also, the breakfast food were overcooked. Bacon, chewy, hash brown looks likes cooked in used oil as it's so brown rather than golden colour. The brown bread taste bitter. The coffee wasn't nice either. I think it's time that Britannia invest in modernising their Coventry City centre chain.

Very good location and just near the bus terminal with multiple bus routes. Many restaurants just a few steps away.

I used to live in COVENTRY back in the 70*s..How it*s changed...The Britannia was a over night stay before traveling to GOLDERS GREEN CREM to visit MARC BOLANS (T-REX) final resting place.. 2 Lovely days break..Staff were helpfull with my internet on my laptop..Would use them again...

One of the worst hotel experiences I had. I had to find a hotel within 2 hours so this one was the only available. If you can, avoid it. The worst thing was smell in the room…

Its a warm day when I book for this. And it is not good as the room has no ventilation at all. Its boiling inside as the window is double glazed but you can't open it. They have provided a 1 small stand fan and still not enough as it is not good to compensate the humidity of the room. The shower is so slow too.

The reception gave us 2 card key, When we enter our room then we closed the door suddenly one guy enter also in our room and i shocked, we booked that room for us only and we don’t even know the guy that someone can enter in the same room he had also card key, the guy say sorry to us but I’m not comfortable to sleep that night..
