Just back from a one week stay at this quirky 15th century hotel. It's most definitely like stepping back in time.The lovely young lady on reception always greeted us with a pleasant smile and was very helpful. Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats, croissants, cereals and boiled eggs, this set us up for a good morning skiing. A short walk along the cobbled street to The Dolonne ski lift , perfect location for us. Pre dinner drinks at the hotel bar down stone steps and various arches we were served by whoever was around to serve you which again was quite quirky , we certainly kept the lovely staff busy. Evening meals were delicious and plentiful, compliments to the Chef. Liked the touch that any wine not finished was kept and put back at your table the following evening . The bedroom was immaculately clean and warm. The double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses pushed together, with bedsheets and woollen blankets all very comfortable. Housekeeping every day. The whole team was exceptional, reception, waiters and waitresses, housekeeping, night manager and not forgetting Alba . the owners should be very proud of all of their staff. The hotel is dated but that's part of its character. Would definitely go back.

Worst experience ever in Alps. Completely outdated hotel in charming building. We had view through small window to neighbouring wall and chimney through small and horribly squeaky window. If you like comfortable bed - forget about it. Two matresses in double bed, hard as stone. Pillows - strange hard and narrow creations. Hotel could not provide with soft ones, so I bought a pillow! There is no duvet, just strange thin wool plaids. Hotel representative said - we do not use duvets (!). Only one electric socket, nearly working, next to the bed. You either charge phone or have light. Not both. You cannot lock WC door. No coffee, tea or even kettle. Burnt hair dryer. Beware your head when taking stairs - dangerously low ceilings not marked. So it is a disrespectful disaster - STAY AWAY!

The charming historical little street in which the hotel is leads to the skilifts within minutes of walking so it is very practcial. Theer are a couple of good restatutants within a couple of minutes walk, however there are no bars or cafes, you need to walk for 15-20 mins up and down big hills to get to the city centre and find some life. The hotel does not have coffe or tea in the rooms and nowhere to sit and have a drink in the hotel itself. The inside of the hotel is very charming, like an old castle to explore, but the rooms are very bare and need redecoration. the batjhroom was tiny. Overall a great place for ski lovers who are out on the slopes all day and only sleep at the hotel.

Ho soggiornato da solo in questo hotel in occasione della manifestazione UTMB del 26-08-2024. Struttura in pietra bellissima di questa casaforte del XVI secolo, a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Courmayeur. La mia camera singola era pulita, molto caratteristica e fornita di tutto il necessario (tv, bagno, phon, asciugamani, saponi, etc.) e veniva riordinata ogni mattina. Il letto comodissimo e la stanza silenziosissima hanno favorito un sonno riposante. Colazione a buffet ricco e variegato tra dolce e salato: dolce fatto in casa, croissant, marmellate, etc, aggiunti a uova, speck, formaggi, etc. Un ringraziamento a tutto lo staff, tutti molto disponibili, gentilissimi e simpaticissimi. Un saluto speciale alla Sig.ra Gloria con la quale ho avuto tutti i contatti e che ha dimostrato professionalità e gentilezza rari da trovare. Spero che ci sia una seconda occasione per soggiornare all’Hotel Dolonne. P.S.: assolutamente non comprendo e non condivido i giudizi negativi: sono troppo negativi anche per chi cerca un servizio a 5 stelle in un hotel a 3 stelle, è evidente…

A fine Agosto ho soggiornato per 8 notti in con mia moglie in questo albergo a tre stelle che secondo me ne meriterebbe anche una di più, prezzo ottimo per la mezza pensione , camera molto carina con vista sul Monte Bianco , veramente eccezionale, qualità del sonno ottima, colazione e cena senza difetti o mancanze con giusta varietà di scelta, personale gentilissimo, una menzione particolare e un grazie alla giovane signora della reception per le informazione dei luoghi da visitare, un grazie anche ai proprietari professionali e amichevoli, posizione eccellente per essere ubicato nel sobborgo di Dolonne a 800 metri dal centro di Courmayer raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti o con autobus gratuito con fermata praticamente di fronte all'hotel che dispone anche di un comodo parcheggio gratuito. Concludendo lo consiglio con la sicurezza di non essere smentito.

Hotel molto caratteristico e carino, proprietari e personale gentili. Manca l'ascensore, colazione da migliorare, nel bagno c'era un brutto odore che ho sentito pure fuori dall'hotel quindi penso sia un problema della zona. Male la doccia, c'era muffa tutto intorno all'interno delle ante. Letti non troppo comodi, si sentivano le molle
