A particularly beautiful hotel. The location is very good at the foot of the mountain. The sanitary equipment is also very clean. Although it has a history of more than 100 years, it is fully equipped and I come here once a year.

As always, our week skiing in Courmayeur was made outstanding by the quality of care and attention afforded to us by the family who run this brilliant hotel. Giovanni, Alessandro, Luigi, Maria and Marie were all amazing. The room we had was very comfortable, spacious and suited our needs to a tee. The food in the restaurant was varied, plentiful and well presented. We have visited here many times and it "feels like home" whenever we are there.

Booked this hotel as a last minute ski deal with Crystal ski. It’s a family run old fashioned hotel with the welcome and service you’d expect if you were their family. The rooms are a good size with a big wardrobe and lots of hanging space which was ideal with loads of ski kit. The bathrooms are small but plenty of hot water and kept spotless by housekeeping who changed towels and bedding regularly. My only tip for anyone who likes to blow dry their hair is that you take a hairdryer with you, the attached dryer in our bathroom (and other rooms talking to fellow travellers) blew out lukewarm air at such a low power it would have taken hours to dry even a short head of hair. Now onto the best bit of this hotel, the food! Bellissimo!!!! Breakfast available from 7.30 for those wanting the fresh tracks to a respectable holiday 10am. Self service, with excellent coffee, there were plenty of options for a tasty filling breakfast. The apricot croissants were our favourite. There was a shuttle bus provided at both ends of the ski day, both lifts were around a 15/20 min walk through the pretty village (not in ski boots) Dinner was an absolute delight, 4 courses plus a large salad selection, no one went hungry. The pasta course each night was amazing. This isn’t a modern hotel, the building is old and although well maintained the noise does rattle around. You”ll know if your neighbours are getting up for the first lift in the morning, but throw on some clothes and head down for a cappuccino and croissant and start your day with a smile.

If you want an anonymous, modern and all singing and all dancing mod con type of hotel this won’t be the hotel for you. However, if you like a family-run hotel, laid back with charm, warmth and comfort, then you will love your stay here. Its location is quiet with a really easy, flat terrain 10 minute walk into the centre of Courmayeur. There are great views up to the mountains from the hotel and it is peaceful. I didn’t notice that the rooms / hotel were noisy and slept well. The food was plentiful - a continental breakfast and 4 course meal every evening. The pasta option for the 2nd course was a meal in itself and had to ask for a small portion! The hotel mini bus to the Dolonne gondola was reliable and timings suited us perfectly. There was no dedicated boot room for your equipment but boards/skis could be stored safely under the stairs and boots and gloves dried on the radiator in the bathroom every night. The owners and staff were charming and exceptionally friendly. All in all, this traditional hotel added to our authentic experience in Courmayeur and 100%, we would return again. It’s actually a little gem.

Hotel on a quiet street. No through traffic. 5 min walk to the nearest shops and max 10 min to the city center. To the nearest ski lift every morning with the hotel's own minivan and back in the afternoon. I'll post a picture of the schedule. If you want to take a paid taxi, the price is 20-25€ within the village. For example, a taxi from the hotel to the Skyway lift station is 20€ (we missed the free ski bus). The nearest ski bus stop can be found about 300m to the right of the hotel and takes you to other destinations in the area for free. Schedules can be seen on the hotel's notice board and at the stop. In our experience, the bus is on schedule. The hotel's food is good and there is enough of it. If you are a light sleeper, the hotel's soundproofing is 100 years old. I recommend earplugs in that case. I only saw the hotel's cats "Mia" and "Camina" once at a glance. I would have liked to pet them more often, but not everyone likes cats, so they were kept hidden. Food 4*, location 5*, helpfulness/friendliness 5*, room 4*.

Booked a last minute Ski Trip and was one of the hotels Crystal Ski Offered. It’s The most nosiest hotel I have stayed in. Vibrations are all over this hotel. You can hear next door, even someone having a wee next door. It’s so old, even has cloth shower curtains that stick to you when showering. Old keys used to open doors and you know exactly when someone is locking/unlocking doors you hear it all. No key safety as well, I picked up my son’s key one day and it opened my room. Food very very basic. However the family owners were nice and we met some very nice people. Do not stay here. I would never return.

We never leave reviews but we have to this time! It absolutely exceeded our expectations after reading other reviews and looking at the pictures. This hotel really needs to update their photos! The hotel is traditional, absolutely spotless, very very friendly and serves amazing food. The maids came into our room everyday and put fresh towels and toiletries in. We had 4 courses every night and they were scrumptious! There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the door of the gondola which was fab. We loved this hotel but the photos don’t do it justice they really need to be updated, they charge so little and they could be getting a lot higher rate. Thank you so much for an amazing stay, you guys are fab!

We booked at short notice after other choices had sold out and having seen some pretty negative reviews and a lack of recent reviews, we were a little apprehensive, but this is a lovely little, family-run hotel that represents excellent value for money. The décor is fairly dated, but very well maintained and I personally loved looking at the mid-century art and furniture. It has standard, ski-style rooms. Compact, but clean and have everything you need. Beds are comfortable, with extra pillows/blankets in the wardrobe if needed. Location is a 10 minute walk from the town, with a hotel mini bus shutting guests to the lifts and bus station if requested each morning and afternoon. It doesn’t run all day long which some reviews have complained about, but if you’re planning to go to and from your hotel all day long and want your hotel to facilitate that for you – spend more. The view from the hotel on a morning is lovely and you get the sun late afternoon/evening so you can sit and have a relaxing drink. Food was great. The continental breakfast buffet has lots of options to fill you up, with a self-service coffee machine for cappuccino, latte, americano etc – coffee was really tasty. Evening meals are a salad buffet and 4 courses which you choose from each evening. The pasta course alone could fill you up. All was very tasty. The bar isn’t as good as other hotels we’ve been to. Lots of spirit choices but no draft beer and guests didn’t seem to be using it much which was a shame. There is no real boot room, which was a little peculiar. Instead, just a space under the stairs to leave your skis/boards and a bench to pop your boots on. There were no rules about not taking boots to rooms though, so we just popped our boots on upstairs before getting the mini bus. That obviously means no boot-warmers to dry them out overnight, but there’s no lack of heating, so sticking them near the radiators overnight sorted them out. Staff are polite and friendly and work hard. The owner/manager comes across a bit grumpy sometimes, but hes actually fine. Just plain-speaking rather than OTT gushy/welcoming. The ladies at breakfast and dinner and all other staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, this was a great option that pleasantly surprised us and you really can’t go wrong for the price!
