We had a lovely stay in the Gran Baita over Christmas.The hotel had everything we wished for. Cosy lounges, bar and a beautiful spa . All the staff were very friendly and made our stay feel special, especially Pietro as he went above and beyond to make us some special drinks. We really enjoyed the music from the maestro pianist. Thanks too go to the wonderful transfers to the ski lifts, it made it a lot less stressful. The Food was delicious and the restaurant staff were excellent. As were housekeeping, our room was cleaned daily. Thank you all for making our Christmas a memorable one. Wishing you all a A Happy New Year.

Overall, this is a good hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Pietro at the bar was outstanding, always friendly and eager to make great drinks for everyone. The restaurant and its staff fell short. Not the friendly italian vibe you’d expect.

An enchanted place just outside the hustle and bustle of the village. mountain hut atmosphere with attention to detail. but the real gem is the spa, a magic: swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath inside and outside immersed in the snow. I’ve been here here several times and I always find everything impeccable!

Beautiful rustic chalet decor, walkable to adorable town. Half board is recommended, food plentiful and very good, desserts amazing! Service of all staff is impeccable, Luigi driving the shuttle wherever you’d like to go, Oscar, Demetri and Pietro, bar, at dinner, and entire staff I didn’t get everyone’s name. Front desk gentleman gave us excellent advice in skiing La Thuille nearby, Monte Bianco not to be missed. We loved our stay, family room for 4 was spacious with lots of storage for ski wear and a private soaking pool outside, the spa beautiful serene and relaxing. We had a wonderful time, made great memories. Thank you for making our stay amazing! Cesar Arias, USA

My car broke down and Martino gave me several hours of his time to have the car towed and arrange transportion to the Turin airport to get another rental car. We are so thankful to all of you. Martino turned a disaster into a small problem that could be managed. Great food! The breakfasts were superb. Beautiful hotel, and the swimming pool was nice and warm.

We have been staying at the Gran Baita for many years and we will definitely return. It has now become a bit ours house in Courmayeur. Located a few miniuts walk distance from the center of the village. The have a very good shuttle service for the close aerea around Courmayeur. The attention to furnishings was meticulous. The reception staff who have worked there for many years are very helpful and professional. We really love their Brasserie La Sapinière where typical Aosta Valley dishes are offered and where the Maitre Enzo together with the staff does a truly excellent job. The rooms are different from each other depending on the category. We always choose those in Alpine style, very warm and well furnished. The wellness area with its outdoor garden, swimmingpool, sauna and relax room, is a truly magical place. We had the pleasure of doing some body treatments. It was an exceptional experience. The fisioteraphist Daniele is really very good and follows customers with great professionalism.
