Lovely location in Entreves, not far from Courmayeur. Great to have shuttle to take you to the cable car. NB: Quite a long walk outside shuttle times. Staff apart from front desk weren’t very friendly. That was a little disappointing Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lovely to sit by the fire at the end of the day

The hotel was charming, beautifully styled and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was very impressive. Everything you would imagine from an upmarket ski chalet. The staff were very welcoming and attentive - nothing was too much trouble. I would specifically call out Davide who really made our stay very special with his kindness and generous support to ensure we had everything we needed. If only there was a Davide in every hotel! We recently stayed at the charming Auberge De La Maison in Courmayeur, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel exuded warmth and charm. The decor was playful, meticulously designed, and wonderfully representative of the local culture, creating a delightful ambiance throughout the property. The staff were exceptional—professional, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate every request. The owner, a woman with impeccable taste, was present every single day, personally overseeing operations and ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Her hands-on approach and attention to detail truly set this hotel apart. A special mention goes to Davide, whose attitude of being “at our disposal,” as he often said, exemplified the highest level of hospitality. When a snowstorm made finding a taxi for our dinner reservation impossible, he graciously drove us there and picked us up afterward, even though the hotel shuttle service had already stopped for the night. His kindness and professionalism are something you rarely see these days, especially in the US. Another standout was Gabriella, who accommodated every request and answered all of our questions with remarkable patience and care. When my husband felt unwell one evening, the owner personally called a pharmacy (which was already closed!) to have it opened so we could get the necessary medication. This level of care and service is truly extraordinary. The food in Courmayeur is unparalleled. The meat, prepared with fresh local herbs from the mountains and local pork fat (lardo), is incredibly flavorful and unlike anything we’ve had before. The porcini mushrooms were outstanding, the walnuts so fresh and tasty, and every dish was crafted with the finest local ingredients. Breakfast was equally exceptional, featuring heavenly milk, cream, and butter. While Courmayeur boasts many fantastic restaurants, the hotel’s restaurant L’Aubergine was our favorite. We also dined at Cadran Solaire, a wonderful restaurant owned by the hotel but located in the town center, which offered equally delicious food and an excellent selection of local wines. Our room offered magnificent views of Monte Bianco, and everything was impeccably spotless, from the room to the linens and towels. On our departure, the hotel arranged for a local and trusted driver to transfer us to Val d’Isère. His expertise and familiarity with mountain roads gave us peace of mind, and the hotel even packed a delicious breakfast for us to enjoy on the way since we didn’t have time to eat before leaving. True hospitality, like what we experienced at Auberge De La Maison, is rare and makes us want to return again and again. The only downside to our stay was that it was too short—just 7 nights. We can’t wait to go back and experience this magical place again. Rating: 5/5

Where to begin? We celebrated our 35th anniversary here, and what a way to celebrate! This hotel far exceeded expectations and took the hospitality experience to a whole new level. It’s a five star hotel and they earn every star for their attention to detail, cleanliness, comfort, beauty and incredible customer service. Every single person we encountered had pride in their work and thought of every little detail to make our stay at this hotel one that would be hard to replicate anywhere in the world. We were blown away by the time we spent there and didn’t want to leave. Monte Bianco and Auberge de la Maison has set the bar for excellence in every aspect. Our room, Les Dames Anglais, room 104, was perfect with mesmerizing views of the mountain. It was hard to leave our balcony because of the ever changing views. The indoor/outdoor heated pool with views of the mountain was a perfect place for the ultimate in relaxation. The indoor spaces and outdoor spaces were full of inviting nooks to relax and take in the views or to escape any cold weather. Walking the grounds you can see examples of the Auberge hospitality. This is one alpine experience that needs to be on your bucket list! The food in the hotel was exceptional both at breakfast and at dinner. Highly recommend both meals. The portions are large and they are very accommodating if you want to share every course. The food is prepared beautifully, and the menu is fresh and inventive. Complimenti !!

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a Backroads Hiking Adventure and were completely blown away. The hotel is charming and picturesque, filled with amazing and unique items from the area and set in a spectacular setting of the Mont Blanc mountain area. The staff are among the most friendly and welcoming we have ever encountered. If you are traveling in this area, be sure to book your ate here as you will not be disappointed!

First things first - a huge thank you to Amadeo of the front desk / concierge team. While every member of staff was fantastically friendly and helpful during our stay, Amadeo went above and beyond for us when we had travel difficulties - acting as facilitator, translator, and generally being the most helpful and supportive person. On to the hotel Staff: 10/10 Morning, noon, and night. In the restaurant, the bar, and at the spa, everyone was friendly, had a smile on their face, and went out of their way to be helpful and hospitable. Design: 10/10 An intimate, boutique hotel, where every room is uniquely designed, plush, comfortable and attractive. There is an old-world comfort and understated luxury feel to the common areas and the rooms. Amenities: 10/10 Spa is modern and immaculate. The indoor/outdoor pool sits surrounded by Mt Blanc and the adjacent mountains, giving a beautiful view from every angle. Rooms: 10/10 Incredibly comfortable, amazing custom scent, huge jacuzzi tubs if you get the right room, and top class products in the bathroom. Restaurant/food: 10/10 I've never seen a breakfast spread like this before. Whether you want smoked salmon and soft scrambled eggs, or pancakes and donuts, they have everything. Fresh fruit? of course. Natural honeycomb? Sure! Room service was also excellent, with their in room dining a great set up. Couldn't have been happier with our stay, will be back here for years to come. Can't wait for our next visit.
