We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel with perfect service. The grand interior, fabulous breakfast, super service with shuttle to/from Dolonne Cabin lift and nice owner - make us want to come back soon. We are so happy to finally have found a very nice hotel in Courmayeur that do not aloud pets. We'll be back:)

We have just come back from a 5 night stay at L'Abris des amis as a family of 4 and a family of 3. It was absolutely excellent, Barbara and her family made us feel so welcome and at home in the hotel. We stayed in the self catering room with 2 bedrooms, lounge/kitchen and bathroom. We had everything that we needed, the rooms were clean and of a high standard. The beds were so comfy after a long day skiing! We opted to pay for the breakfast and it was well worth the 12 euros each. Plenty of options including cereal, cakes, croissants, toast, yogurts, fruit and eggs made to order which were fantastic. The location was good, just a 20mins walk into the centre for the restaurants and shops. For skiing Barbara's husband gave us a lift there and back to the ski lift and they had a boot room downstairs at the hotel. On our last day they booked theSky Way and took us there too. Nothing was ever too much, fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend staying here, we will be coming back again. Wonderful small hotel. Thank you so much Barbara x

I enjoyed staying at L'Abris Des Amis; my room was lovely, and quite clean. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Barbara is kind, and a bit reserved. It's located about a 15-min. walk from Courmayeur (a pleasant walk!), although the bus stop is right there, and easy to take. (Plan ahead to buy tickets for 1 euro; if you buy them on the bus, they have a 4 euro surcharge!) Most restaurants open at 7:30pm, and unfortunately the buses stop running around then! But an evening stroll back is pleasant. It's easy to take the bus to various places (the funicular SkywayMonte Bianco, or trailheads). L'Abri des Amis is a beautiful, small, and peaceful place to stay.

Superb place to stay. So much so that I’ve been moved to write a review. The hosts Barbara and her husband were exceptionally helpful (helping to transport ski equipment and us) and friendly. They provided a lovely breakfast with quality ingredients, including delicious homemade cakes. We hadn’t planned on taking breakfast but it was so good. The accommodation itself was perfect, great care had been taken to decorate in a contemporary ski chalet style - lots of natural materials. Comfy beds and good showers. Good location as it’s a 10 min walk on the level into Courmeyer centre. Stayed as a group of 5 sharing one of the larger apartment rooms.

Wow what a charming little hotel very well located 5 minutes from the ski resort by shuttle which is provided with the hotel and which is very well organized. Barbara the owner is really charming and the breakfasts are exquisite. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. We fell in love with this little jewel of Courmayeur located 20 minutes on foot from the city center.

My family and I spent two days in the suites of this little gem nestled in the heart of Courmayeur. Located just minutes from the center, it is a perfect spot for a beautiful weekend. We really appreciated the kindness of the owners, friendly and attentive to our every little need, at the same time discreet and super helpful. I recommend it and will definitely return.

If you are looking for availability, a family environment, kindness, a delicious breakfast, that place is called "abri des amis"!! Super accommodation, complete with everything! Large, clean, warm and welcoming room. The view from the balcony is splendid!! I highly recommend it!!

The interior setting of the Abri des Amis is of chalet-style finesse, all in wood, which provides exceptional warmth to this Bed&Breakfast! It includes a family apartment on the ground floor with two bedrooms for 4 people! On the upper floors, several rooms for two (or three) people decorated with great refinement! A lunch room with a very well stocked buffet! Outdoor parking spaces, a ski room and transfer to the lifts! This Bed & Breakfast is run with a family spirit which makes it even warmer! In short, a must-see Bed & Breakfast if you want to visit Courmayeur! A big thank you to Barbara, Nicolo, their children without forgetting Nonna and il Nonno!
