Ashbourne House Hotel

I stayed here a couple of years ago and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Ashbourne, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within walking distance. Plus, the bus stop is conveniently right on the doorstep, making it easy to explore further.

So I came across this little Gem of a hotel on my travels as a Fáilte Ireland Driver/Guide and boy was I impressed...The level of care and attention from all the staff was above and beyond at this place, the room was spotless which has to be a nod to Amanda and all the house keeping team , the food was ...well..just outstanding and the bar fully immersed with the Xmas Spirit was a joy....Kenny the New Manager was very hands on whilst the rest of the team knew exactly how to deal with diners/clientele by not being over bearing and bothering them every minute all in all I would highly recommend this establishment as it has everything a Traveller/ concert goer or just even a solo would need with every amenities just outside the front door....by and large I am going to rate this little Gem in the top 3 of Hotels I stay in throughout the course of my job and I will have no problem in recommending this hotel to the operators I deal with throughout my season...well done guys keep up the good work..

The bedrooms were clean and comfortable: our rooms both had a double and single bed, so there wasn't a lot of room, but would be good if travelling with a child. The rooms were at the back of the building, so face the car park or inner courtyard, so were quiet. The bathroom was a shower room, but plenty big enough. Breakfast was fantastic, with loads of options and very reasonably priced. The food in the pub was also great. You can get a direct bus into Dublin from right outside the hotel and it takes about 45-50 minutes. It takes about 25 mins to drive here from the airport via the M50/N2.

Lovely hotel just stayed 1 night after visiting local adventure park. We didn't have food at the hotel walked to a beautiful restaurant just a few mins away. This hotel is very central. Our kids enjoyed their stay too. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the Ashbourne House Hotel as a family of 5 for my birthday. I was so impressed by this hotel. We had 2 rooms and they were both spotlessly clean, the beds were so comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing especially the manager Joe and the night time receptionist (unfortunately I forget his name) nothing was too much trouble for them. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and the food was some of the nicest I have tasted. I will most certainly be returning again. ☺️

We stayed in this hotel on 18th May 2024. We were early arriving. The hotel receptionist was more than helpful his name was Ausman I think. He was friendly and considerate. The hotel itself was mega comfortable spacious clean rooms hairdryer and tea etc. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful in every single way. Beautiful lobby as you walked in with comfortable furniture and homely atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel
