This cozy mountain cottage located high on Ivy Log Mountain truly feels like it's miles from civilization, yet you're only minutes away from Blairsville town center. Downtown Blue Ridge is just 20 minutes away. You can be in Ellijay, Hiawasee, or Murphy N.C. in less than 45 minutes. And Dahlonaga and Helen are just an hour away. When you first enter this cozy mountain cottage, you'll gaze upon the beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace, the hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The kitchen comes with granite counter tops, refrigerator, microwave, electric stove, coffee pot, toaster oven and all the dishes , pots and pans and utensils you'll need for your stay. Just bring the food you love to eat. Master bedroom with its floor to ceiling tongue and groove woodwork is a restful oasis after a long day of hiking, antiquing or shopping. The main level bathroom has a jetted jacuzzi tub. The loft area has a cozy sleeping area and a full bathroom with a glass and tile shower. The terrace level has an amazing regulation size slate pool table, bonus TV room and laundry with washer and dryer. Away from the cottage there are hundreds of miles of hiking trails and recreational lakes for boating and kayaking. Meeks Park is Blairsville's hidden treasure. Vogel state park is a short distance away as well as golfing and pickle ball. Antiquing, shopping and restaurants abound. The Sorghum Festival is in October in Meeks Park as well as fall festivals in Ellijay, Dahlonaga, Helen, Blue Ridge , Suches and many others.. This home has just undergone renovations and updates including new bathrooms, furnishings and decor. We have three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Pontoon boat is NOT included.
