Come home to a relaxing house with a bonfire pit, card table, kid's games, and plenty of space to sleep everyone comfortably.The spaceThis 2000 sqft home has 2 fireplaces, two large decks, a large dining area with a table for 6, and a countertop for additional seating. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two queens, a twin bed, and a private bathroom. A fold-out couch is in the living room. A couch and queen-sized air mattress are in the family room with a wood-burning fireplace.You will love this home in the summer because of Lake Laura, and its private beach, which is just a short walk away. The lake is perfect for swimming, or you can take our kayaks and beach toys and enjoy a day at the lake. Just be sure to wear a life vest. Just down the road from Lake Laura is a workout center, tennis courts, the Royal Golf course, and clubhouse. You can golf at Tullymore, Saint Ives, and other courses in the area.In the fall you will enjoy the scenic changing colors of the trees in the woods surrounding this secluded property. Relax outdoors by a warm fire and roast some marshmallows. You will be amazed at the starry night sky. Take a color tour around Northern Michigan, stop by The Winery at Young Farms just down the road, and come back here to unwind and cookout on the Blackstone Grill.In the colder months, this area is transformed into a winter wonderland. Deer and other wildlife travel through the woods surrounding the property. Snowmobile trails, ski hills, and Soaring Eagle Casino are close by. You will enjoy the tranquil, serene views of the woods blanketed in snow while resting by a fire in the peace and quiet of the area during the cold, winter months.Note: Guest fees for indoor and outdoor pools and gym area are 5 dollars per person over 6 and 3 dollars per person under 6 for daily passes.We supply 2 rolls of paper towels in the kitchen and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom per stay. Please just let us know if more is needed and we are happy to accommodate. We drain and scrub the hot tub between each guest. The cottage is just steps away from the lake, and often when you look out the sliding doors or windows it sometimes seems as though you are actually floating on the water. There is a dock, so feel free to bring your own boat for your stay. The fishing is great, so don’t miss out on that! The cottage also has a shallow swim area, fire pit, propane grill, and a back deck that was made for relaxing. There is plenty of room for yard games as well, and enough seating for you and your family to enjoy their stay. As for the cottage itself, it is fully furnished and includes three bedrooms, one full bathroom, and a half bath that doubles as a laundry room. You will have access to a stove, refrigerator, microwave, Wi-Fi internet, flat-screen television, board games, ladder toss, playing cards, coffee maker, toaster, dish soap, dish towels, cleaning supplies, a start-up supply of toilet paper and paper towels, furniture, pots, dishes, silverware, brooms, blankets, quilts, sheets, bath towels, bedspreads and pillows. You can sleep on the recliners or throw an air mattress in the main living room to easily sleep eight people. There is also plenty of parking space for up to five vehicles. The rental also comes with two guest passes for you to enjoy the amenities at Canadian Lakes, which is just around the corner! You can enjoy world-class golfing, access to pools and a fitness area, tennis/pickleball courts, and outdoor recreation at your fingertips.Aside from the amenities at Canadian Lakes, the area boasts nearby wineries, restaurants, and shopping for your convenience.
