We are lucky to be a short 8 minute river walk from the local pub - the King Alfred. The pub has a reputation for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The property backs onto the River Tone with direct access via a side garden gate which means you can walk for miles directly from the property. You will see an abundance of wildlife including woodpeckers, white doves and a wide range of garden birds. You can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset during your stay - should you be lucky with the British weather! The area is renowned for walking, cycling and fishing.
