Room 314. The staff had no personal commitment to our request for the return of personnel property. The hotel took no responsibility for reimbursement of personal belongings left in room house keeping. The staff would not replace a euro taken by a machine on the hotel property without unnecessary dispute.

Thought i would give my thoughts on this hotel. It was not the one i booked, but i could not go the other hotel for other reasons so was offered this. On the whole it is a nice hotel i will say it is not the worst, but not the best 4* ive ever stayed in. I will give good and bad, and take notes below: We stayed in a standard room, not a themed room as on the website. Good points : It is very clean, room cleaned everyday, outside and pool area spotless all the time. Staff seemed friendly, although tbh i didn't have to many interactions but the ones i did were pleasant Location is ok, there is a bus stop at the bottom of the road where you can get a bus to Accerife, Puerto del carmen and the Sunday market in Teguise. Also easy walking distance to the resort centre along the sea front - very pleasant Xmas decorations were nice Loads of available sunbeds, but it was December :) Bad Points: The food is very very beige!, very little variation. Same pasta and sause everyday, there was usually a different protien served, but the rest is very similar every day. Dinner is usually a slight variation of Lunch. I also had a pork chop on the last day and when i cut into it it was pink. could have been an odd one but i wasnt willing to try another. 'fruit juice' in the morning at breakfast is just cordial, or extremly watered down juice. All inclusive can be better and is much better than this! We ended up eating out for dinner the last 3 nights (of 7) as just so bored at the lack of choice. The room we were in was above the kitchen, hope you are a heavy sleeper as at 3.30 am the fans start in the kitchen and wake you up vibrating the room! Average and to be aware of : The hotel is in need of a refurb, there are broken tiles in the hallways, unfinished painting in the dining room, the bedroom furniture is a joke, you wouldnt give £2 for the lot in a second hand shop. mirrors cracked, wardrobe rotten, dors to the terace - glass is broken with a bit of tape over it. nothing a few £100 wouldnt fix, so why not do it? You have to buy(or rent) a plastic cup at the pool bar, i get it keeps the mess down but just seems a little odd when you get there or if you forget them and leave them in your room ! Snack bar - nah not my idea of snacks that - cheese and ham and some dry bread Cocktails are extra - even with the local spirits - not very 4* that. Could do with more areas to sit and relax in the evening, the bar is rammed with music from a tv being played, not really relaxing. The large reception area has a sofa and 2 chairs - lovely to sit and relax, if your the lucky ones to get there. There is easily more room for a few more sets and a couple coffee tables in that massive area. 4* should include the use of the safe without paying extra Overall we had a nice week, and for the price, its better than a week at home, just be prepared to eat out a few nights to relive the boredom of the meals

My holiday was all,I was dropped off at the top and walked down,first impression was excellent and it stayed that way throughout,loved seeing the love birds in the aviary,staff was very helpful,nothing was too much trouble.there was lots of choices in food even those it wasn't always my taste.room was clean,nice size,some improvement needed but im aware they are slowly rennovating rooms,but again this didnt ruin our holiday,and it wouldn't stop me going back .lovely balcony,only thing I'd have preferred is having the balcony facing the pool,instead of the miniature golf.but that's just my preferred choice. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good points - Staff very friendly, the weather :-) Bad points - Rooms (which are being slowly renovated) - Entertainment – Just wow, why bother? Put an adult disco on, it’s free and 100% better than what you seem to think is acceptable. - Food - We have never known anything like this in any all inclusive, while this is a budget hotel there is absolutely no thought going into the menu choices or common sense being used. On one morning we went in and the chef on the hot food section had about 50 fried eggs piled up and more on the go! That’s just one example, see my picture of the cheese burgers (i use the words loosely) put out in the evening. They may be on a budget but good food isn’t too hard to provide. There was only ever 1 meat choice and usually 2 fish, the rest was a variety of wet pasta or some kind of vegetable hidden in a sauce. The microwave becomes your best friend. Top tip, go out and buy a block of cathedral city, you then get to actually taste something nice. I’ve just read a previous reply from the manager when someone mentioned the state of the broken tiles around the place and rooms, he must walk round with a blindfold on as he replied how concerning this was to him. Just about shows that whoever they are, they don’t actually care. The place is receiving a lick of paint, I noted they seem to be making efforts to spruce the hotel up but none of that matters if you don’t do something about the food. It's a real shame, clearly needs an injection of new management and kitchen staff and the whole place would be so much better. But then I read similar comments about a lot of all inclusive hotels in the canaries, I guess you get what you pay for but this is being touted as 4 star where it's struggling to meet a 2 star standard. I will avoid the “Bluesea” brand of hotels in the future unless I read that they have changed significantly. To the manager, please use your time to go and manage your hotel rather than copy / paste another standard reply to this.

The rooms were clean and tidy great service in the restaurant and bar area swimming pools was excellent and clean great holiday Nice walk down to beach and shopping centre will be returning back to this hotel again next year as this was my second visit and highly recommended this hotel for a friendly hotel
